lol amazing the number of antennas on Andreas rover LOL. Also amazing it doesn't burst into flames when she transmits with all the rf and wires in that thing LOL :)
Fun episode with lots of action shots and tons of contacts. Fun to hear Bob K2DRH and Greg on 6. I have worked Bob on 6 sideband here on FM29. I am trying to activate a POTA park on 1296 this Saturday.
That would be pretty cool, a bit far for us to try and work you unless fantastic conditions. 23cm intrigues me for so much activity during contest, there is very little local activity. I am looking in the future to start a morning 1296 round table.....But that will be in a few more months down the road.
@@N5XOHAMsterWeakSignalGroup i live in a city with lots of +100 foot tall RF reflecting buildings that allow a 360 round table discussion without moving beams after finding the perfect beam heading. I activated the POTA park on 23 cm yesterday with 10 contacts: 8 cw, 1 ssb, 1 FT8.
love seeing how fast Greg works and sometimes gets tongue tied. He's way better than me. Maybe idea for a video sometime show what logging software everyone uses and how they log a contact. Ive yet to use any logging software as I don't do any contest.
