We've got the hearts of thousands backing us, and so many more infront of us!
When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals its self, first as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns, this time as a great hero.

Having read up on the lore of Staangereal (I started with 7) I know understand how 7 wrapped up the story that started with 4.
Outstanding work, man! To anyone complaining about the lack of the original lyrics, it sounds like he's using Performance Samples' Oceania choir (the name alone sounds fitting for Ace Combat music, eh) which is a syllable-based library that can't really do anything outside of about ten or so pre-recorded syllables. Stuff like East West's choirs exists but it's harder to get this sort of sharp, agile and workable melody out of those. I'm also very sad I don't have it myself. President Harling would have been proud, citizen.

This is by far, and I do very carefully select my words here, the most fucking breathtaking rendition of this theme I've ever heard ever since I've heard The Unsung War play for the first time. Same chills, same unmeasured awe.

15 years ago, there was a war. Well, war's broken out here plenty of times before. They've tried to invade the southland through the northern valley time and time again. Luck was never on their side, though, and their victories didn't last long. They didn't realize that times had changed. Facing one defeat after another, losing territory, and watching their nation dwindle, they built up their industrial strength to unprecedented heights and used it to wage one final battle against the world.
That was 15 years ago. They fought ferociously, but were utterly defeated. The Belkans then committed the unthinkable: they used nuclear weapons on their own soil. Seeing this tragedy unfold before their own eyes, the victors vowed to throw down their weapons. The world was once again at peace. And thanks to them, it seemed it would last forever. On a distant island, far away from civilization, the protectors of the peace take to the skies.
I just found this the other day and can't stop listening, gives me chills and tears. Amazing work.
EDIT: I don't just mean tearing up either I mean actually legit choking up, this song has the same power as the original in my book.
This is so good it makes me nostalgic for a game I've never even seen a playthrough of, let alone played. Well done!
I will die proudly by knowing Ace Combat X: Skies of Deceptions was the very first video game I have ever touched, played, enjoyed and replayed for years and years and years.
The majesty of this is excellent. It feels like the Jurassic Park Theme and Now We are Free all bound up by an unbreakable cord of patriotism.

How have I just now stumbled across more of your work? Words alone cannot describe just how majestic this composition is, it's pure beauty. Captures the majestic Razgriz so well, I recognized that leitmotif as soon as I heard it, and it was more beautiful than I ever could've imagined. A wonderful salute to the Aces of Razgriz, and allow me to salute your astounding work Lucas!

Absolutely Beautiful... I'm speechless...Kobayashi would be proud. You took something already spectacular and made it into something so much more. I Thank You so much for taking something from my childhood that I've cherished and giving it a new flare. Ace Combat 5 is by far my favorite game of all time and probably will never be replaced, and if one day if it ever hit the big screen I think you and Keiki would do wonders with the soundtrack.

@@ZETAPLUSA70 I mean, Lucas could probably do it himself, all you really need is to splice the choir from the original over the instrumental track from this... the lyrics aren't that difficult to memorize so you could probably make a custom choir for it if you wanted. I just sing along so loud you can't hear the vocals.

"Cum historia mutat valde Razgriz revelat ipsum" etc. it's all lost. Idk, I love this track but I also wish the lyrics were actually still the Razgriz lyrics.
@@SlyAceZeta True but on the Other Hand, we dont know how his situation with it was, maybe he wasnt able to get they lyrics out or maybe there was something else with it.
I agree with you that it would be cool to have the OG Razgriz Lyricy. But as well, this is really Unique in its own way since the Lyrics are his own and therefore i can see why this is called a Tribute .
The OG Lyrics would have been the Cherry on Top of the Cake and therefore i think Optional.
Yeah for us Hardcore fans it would have been waaaaay more amazing, but you really dont know how things at his side worked out.
Maybe he can do it with the OG Ones in a second edit or in FE "The Unsung War" Edit/Mix .
