I’m Albanian from Kosova I’m Londoner lived in UK for 33 years from 1992 I do watch lots of videos but is one of the best I ever watched so col so relaxing even you visited only few towns but videos are perfect maybe better than perfect even i ben in Albania Tirana 1990 but from year 2000 I go every year your video makes me go just now ❤❤❤❤❤❤ 💫✨👑💐🇬🇧🇦🇱🇽🇰!!?
Really great vid! Nice job explaining some of the ins and outs of the place. I'll be there next summer. You two look like Kosova Albanians to this Shqip hahaha! 🇦🇱🇺🇸
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video! While we loved Jale beach for its easy access, nearby restaurants and amazing water, our favorite was actually Gjipe beach. Gjipe beach felt more secluded and peaceful, though it was harder to get to.
@@ours2discoverThanks for visiting my country. We hear a lot of pro's from people and it's great to hear that tourists are liking the country as I think that we're on development trasition era😂 because cities are changing fast. What are some cons/negative opinions that you'd wish to get solution? That would help with our businesses in Albania to fix whatever we can for a better service next year! We're opening negotiations and willing to join EU in 2030 or earlier. New highways/railways under constructions and lots of projects getting funds by the west are going on but will take a bit of time until we understand that tourism is a great point for our economy. Also if you come next year, you'll definetly land in Vlora new Airport😎 opening in march 2025!
You talked about not having enough public beaches. Next year a new law is coming, ⅓km will be public beach and only hotels will own sunbeds based on the number of rooms (amazing right)
Hi, thanks for the video. I am planning on visiting Albania next year. Just wanted to ask regarding the bus transportation between cities. Is there a limit to baggage you may take on the bus? I see you only had like a backpack, we will have large suitcases. Will that be a problem? Thanks in advance
Hey! Thank you for watching 🤗 No we don’t believe there is any sort of limit on luggage count or size. The bus cargo doors on the bottom are opened by the driver and it’s more of a self serve situation where people start loading in their luggage/bags. We definitely saw lots of people who loaded in multiple huge suitcases. Just in case though, arrive a bit early (maybe 30+ mins before departure) to ensure there is space to put your bags. We arrived late one time (like 5 mins before) and the space was about 80% full. Hope that helps and have an awesome trip! (Lets us know if you have any questions, we’re planning to upload a more in depth travel guide to Albania btw)
@@kolindosaban2577 As part of our journey, we are going to places we don’t know what to expect (not low expectations). Albania ended up surprising us in the best way possible, we are so glad we got to experience it, and we can’t wait to be back.
We had low expectations having been influenced with Western media/Hollywood portrayal of Albania but we were surprised by how beautiful every part of the country is and we can’t wait to come back to enjoy it more.
Am flattered to hear that I thought complete the opposite. Enjoy our country and be our ambassador to others by showing the reality and beat the stereotypes Thank you
Albania you are truly a gorgeous country. Ancient History. The Coast. Spectacular mountains. You are now on my list. Best wishes from USA.
It's one of my favorite places in the world! I'm glad you liked it too! I definitely need to visit it again!
@@eduardaaraujo638 thanks for the recommendation! ❤️
