Strange. My Ryu doesn't have glossy skin. Anyway, I've been consodering getting Ken, so thanks for the great review.
I got my Ryu kinda early, my Fei long is glossy too, it’s something the guy who directing the line corrected, so the ones after the first few batches aren’t glossy
@@KitbashCustoms Thanks. That's good to know because I'm trying to track down a Fei Long. It sold out everywhere where I live (Japan), but I can buy it online from Mercari. However, I need to make sure I'm getting one from a later batch 👍🏻

I think akuma will be a normal release and shin akuma will be a con exclusive. Thankfully ultra street fighter 2 had 2 versions of akuma.

First, because Ryu gets very serious about training and fighting, the glossy Ryu skin could be taken as him being sweat drenched.
Learning of the existence of SHfiguarts Street Fighter line is when I started wanting to collect a Street Fighter line. But, those are expensive. And I already missed a lot of their releases And resell makes the MSRP look cheap! I did get their M. Bison for $60+ because, if I only got one, it would have to be M. Bison. And I got a Ken down to a reasonable premium figure price using Amazon card reward points.
But, I'm still getting Ken and M.Bison by Jada because, I like how they're turning out. More Kens means more displays with him in them, right?. They need to make a 6" Barbie figure so I can pose her like she's on a date with Street Fighter Ken. LOL

I've heard people say Ree-you or, Rai(rhymes with eye)-you. I had no clue which is correct. So, neither way ever bothered me.
