Very pleasant to watch and a useful demonstration of these colors. You're really living dangerously with that open ink bottle in the middle of your workspace. I would have knocked it over onto my notebook 2 seconds in.

Thank you! Took me sometime to have the best setup to avoid accidents. The bottle in the middle ws perfect for me as I tend to knock bottles when they were in my peripheral 😅

Hey Karen, new subscriber from at least your last 3 videos & fellow southpaw here!
I'm curious as to why you do the 3 horizontal streaks the way you do? The cotton swab will be wettest on the initially top line & you're looking for shade difference of the ink correct? Wouldn't it be better to double/triple up on the top two wettest streaks instead of the dryer lower streaks to see the shading difference? Please take this with all due respect, i haven't made any videos nor plan to so maybe it's a creative preference, but seems like the 3 streaks aren't going to show much variation in shading if that's what you're looking for.
I will still keep watching regardless of your style, most videos seem to be FP things other channels aren't covering as often & i love to see the ink swatching in general. God bless!

Hey Rob! Yes, your points are valid and appreciate your observations on my video. Initially, I did the swatch videos because I thought they were fun and nothing else 😆 The 3 streaks were more of a stress test for the paper, to see if they can hold up to multiple layers of ink (ie. liquid), more than the color shading.
But yes, I can experiment on putting more "stress" on the top or middle line. Honestly, that sounds fun 😁
Happy to have a fellow lefty here. I'm also looking for other lefty content creators and if you have any recos, would love to watch and subscribe to their channel. Take care and God bless you!
