I love seeing a UA-camr that reads a normal amount of books. Every time I see a wrap up video where someone read 20 books in a month I low-key wanna die
@@dinahlizett it's their job though. I read around 6-10 books per month, it's very doable, especially since I can read at work and usually get through 100+ pages in a day every day. That sounds like a lot, but that's just 3-4 hours of concentrated reading, and you are still left with 12 hours to do whatever you want during the day
If you haven’t read it, you need to read Stormlight Archive. It’s Brandon’s best series by far, with Words of Radiance being my favorite book of all time.
If you haven’t read the entire Wheel of Time yet, I highly recommend you continue. It has one of the most satisfying conclusions to a story I’ve ever experienced. That said, Lord of Chaos is considered to be a lot of people’s favorite book in the series (mostly because of the climax and conclusion) and there’s a handful of books you’ve yet to read that are definitely slower in my opinion.
Thanks! That is the goal. I try to read 2 books a year. And since last year I only read the 1 I need to make it up this year by reading 3. I am almost done A Crown of Swords now so just 2 more to go before the end of the year! :)
It’s honestly refreshing to see someone who doesn’t bow to social pressure here and just reads what they want. That said, I thought Gullivers Travels was boring as heck, though I’m happy you enjoyed it. I’m honestly a little mad that I was required to get Frugal Wizard as part of that kickstarter because I knew going into it that I already wasn’t a fan of Sanderson comedies, but I love the epic fantasy. The third one Yumi I thought was really good, but to be honest you might want to stay away from book 4 Sunlit Man as it spoils the entire cosmere and huge parts of Stormlight Archive (and assumes you already read it). Im a couple books into wheel of time and I like it so far. Love your videos!
Good to see a new vid from you. I hope you continue to like the Wheel of Time series because, as you likely know, Brandon Sanderson ended up picking up where Robert Jordan left off to finish last 3 books. I'm a fan of Brandon Sanderson's books myself.
Great to see you back, enjoyed hearing about these books, a lot of these are on my TBR. Also did Lord of Chaos recently, it really is extremely slow in the first half, but the ending is killer. Study in Scarlet is also a favourite of mine!
Read Gulliver in HS and thought it was great. Amazing how a book that is almost 300 years old can be such an easy read, especially compared to other classics that are one or two hundred years newer.
The frugal wizards was my first Sanderson and almost put me off his writing completely! I have a copy of Tress of the Emerald Sea and hope that it’s way better.
Really loving your channel! Can I ask as a newb abo how to get into fiction? I seem to have trouble getting into fiction. I’ve been reading more and more, and love history, as well as biographies or autobiographies, but sometimes don’t know where to start with fiction
I would honestly start with some quick easier fiction books. Especially some classics. How to Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is a favorite of mine and is a true classic in every way possible. Also, I just read Animal Farm by George Orwell at the beginning of the year and thought it was pretty good. It is a super quick easy read, but is definitely a bit different. And 1984 By Orwell is a favorite of mine as well
Ahh! From seeing videos only with high views to come to know that less views means Intelligent people are here also Love this video at the year start and remind me that i took a great desicion by subscribing you 1.5 years back

Refreshing to see a booktuber that reads at their own pace and that doesn’t have to read 50 + books a year
Haha thank you! :)
Exactly. I swear some booktubers actually read 200+ books a year, and there no way you remember 99% of those books
I love seeing a UA-camr that reads a normal amount of books. Every time I see a wrap up video where someone read 20 books in a month I low-key wanna die
whenever I see a a booktuber or a social media book-influencer reading basically one book a day I roll my eyes so far back I can see my annoyed brain.

Maybe at some point in the future. Been definitely feeling like I need a little break from it

Again, another really entertaining and informative video. 🙂👍

Cool, thanks for the recommendation! I'll look into it :)
The frugal wizards was my first Sanderson and almost put me off his writing completely! I have a copy of Tress of the Emerald Sea and hope that it’s way better.
I definitely enjoyed Tress way (WAY) more than Frugal Wizard! I hope you like it too :)
Really loving your channel!

10:27 I very much appreciate your being wary of spoilers while talking about a 300-year-old book lol
now destroy all your copies of twilight
"My least favorite book from last year." I'm dead. I've died. 💀
Damn bruh
