I appreciate your opinion man but you're basically telling me to conform to today's cookie cutter sound which is cut & paste flute/guitar loops with maxed out autotuned rapping/singing, that's why everyone literally sounds the same. Following trends won't get you anywhere in the long run, your goal should be to carve out your own sound, not to mimic other artists. I stick to my niche and make music I enjoy making and that's why I'm still here 20+ years later making a living doing what I love. A sound you might not like, someone else will, that's the great thing about music. Good luck.
