Thanks so much for this video! It’s easy to follow and exactly what I needed to learn how to get a print from a website to my printer. 👍🏼👍🏼 I also appreciate that you stay on subject and don’t add unnecessary chatting. When trying to figure out a printer, I just need simple and clear direction bc I’m already probably overwhelmed with the task! 😅 Just a side note, your voiceover volume is great but your music cut-ins are quite loud. I see you shared this video a while ago, so you may have adjusted that balance in current videos. Thanks again!!
When you download files from Thingiverse, they are often zipped so make sure you unzip them before you try to import into Cura. Also, make sure you have downloaded an .stl file. Some makers on Thingiverse upload other types of files (with images of the finished print or directions), but Cura will only be able to import the .stl file.
If you are using a different slicing software, it may just say Export. If you are using PrusaSlicer, it should say Export G-Code. If it doesn't, you can also click on the File Menu, then click Export, and then Export G-code.
this was seriously so easy to follow, thanks so much

Thank you for putting this easy to follow explanation together. :)
Thanks Betsy! Waiting on my printer to arrive so I'm trying to learn as much as I can before then. This helps a lot.
Should fade that music in and out or turn it down. Kinda hate trying to pay attention to instructions and then having loud music blasting my ears
😂
Omg best explanation ever
I love the music in this. So loud! I was rocking with my kid

thank you so much youre amazing!
My bambu lab printer didn’t come with a adapter
You can connect it over your Wifi network. You could also purchase an adapter, but I would recommend using the network if you can.
when i press slice now it just says export and not export g code
