- Trps. A. Escamilla (A-29) , T. Van Schoyck (A-22) & J. Shumate (A-40) attempt to stop a reckless driver on US-67/167 in Sherwood. The driver flees taking Troop A on a lengthy wild chase through Downtown Little Rock.

@@optimisticcosmic Remember these policemen are well trained in how to avoid accidents while chasing suspects, and how NOT to "endanger hundreds of people's lives to capture one knuckle head". And, if people would yield the right of way to the officers in pursuit, and would follow the laws and pull over when they see the lights and hear the sirens of the cop cars, their lives would not be endangered. It's knuckleheads like the tow truck driver towing the school bus that put people's lives in jeopardy. He should've looked around the intersection before proceeding through the stop light. That's the first thing they teach you in defensive driving. Always look all ways. I'm sure if the man really needed medical attention, they would provide that for him in the jail or police dept. Nobody wants a lawsuit. The man being chased is the one who put peoples' lives in jeopardy, not the police who were chasing him and trying to stop him from killing someone.
They treated that gentlemen with the respect that he deserves!
Obviously that was no gentleman. A gentleman wouldn't have endangered so many lives running from police along with whatever else he's done to make him flee.

Man this was a good one, glad they got him in cuffs without injuring anyone (that matters). Listening to this guy cry about the inevitable consequences of his own bad decisions, and the troopers subsequently giving absolutely no ducks about it was just... delicious. Music to my ears. ASP does a fantastic job.
Ana is a badass! She tried to pit him at 100mph, tagged the wall and stayed in the fight. Then they had to restrain her at the crash site. She even calls him a Bitch!

Actually all law enforcement officers should always be able to control their emotions during any encounter with the public. When emotions come into play people are less likely to act and respond to situations appropriately. Emotions can cloud judgements.

The best hing you can do is stay put and let the officers drive around you. If people start making evasive maneuvers and "getting out of the way" they're gonna end up really getting in the way.
@@casmatori The law clearly states you pull over to the right and stop. One of the first things you learn in driver's education is when you see lights or hear the siren, you pull over and stop. Same goes for a funeral - at least here in AR. I don't know where you're from, but here it's the law. Not only that, the "fast lane" aka left lane is only for people passing other vehicles. Once the car they are trying to pass is behind them, they are supposed to get in the right or middle lane, thus leaving the lane for emergency vehicles that need the lane to get to emergencies and chase idiots like this guy. I have no sympathy for this driver, but I do have sympathy for the police trying to catch him.

Every state should institute a law that says if you run from the police in a vehicle, putting innocent people’s lives in danger, as well as law enforcement…MANDATORY 10 year sentence! 10 years if you run. 20 years if there is property damage or minor injury. Life if the chase results in great bodily harm or death for anyone. Each of these sentences to be served AFTER any other sentence is served. None of that congruent BS. Maybe if we could find some Federal politicians with balls they could make this a federal crime so these pussy liberal judges and prosecutors wouldn't have the ability to go soft on these POS's.

What part of 'using your rear view & side view mirrors' do some of these drivers not get? I would love to see these jerks who do not pull over & get the heck out of the way, get a HUGE citation for interfering with a police pursuit & putting others at risk by not getting out of the way. Drivers using their rear-view mirrors often usually have plenty of time to move over.
I'm so with you there! I was taught to check my mirrors often, guess they don't teach that anymore.
@@mrsteadog1313 they all have the 'nannycams' and beeps/chimes for guidancee and trust for their safety. That and 13+ speakers to drown out the droning sounds and other outside noises INCLUDING sirens
I was taught to do a mirror check every 5 seconds, but if they are coming at you at 120mph you better be quicker than that!

I hate to say it but this whole thing could have been avoided if Tpr. Escamilla had positioned herself closer to the wall when they first tried to do the rolling stop. I’m not a fan of her. She gets way too emotional during stops.
