It's not so much that LeBron isn't as good...its more so the league he's in isn't as physically enforced as Mikes. Top 10 biggest basketball figures
    1. Bill Russel the Morgan Freeman god figure of "Basket" & "Ball"
    2. Michael Jordan the most dominant modern era player ever.
    3. Wilt Chamberlain the most dominant player from an old era of basketball.
    4. Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Hard to say if he should be ahead of Wilt. He a Legend.
    5. LeBron James the most all around player of All-Time. His career was like an explosive Magic Johnson. Career wasn't perfect but you gotta give props, he played in an era of really competitive basketball, early 2000's to present.
    The rest of the list should go...
    6. Magic Johnson
    7. Larry Bird
    8. Kobe Bryant
    9. Timmy D.
    10. Shaq.

    You guys are all funny. I was born in '79. I saw Michael's greatness when I was a kid, saw Kobe and LeBron obviously. Here's my take and I'm gonna make it simple. There is no GOAT period. But there are GOHG(Greatest Of His Generation) players. Wilt, Kareem,MJ,Kobe,Lebron... because it's just absurd to compare players that played in different eras, rules, dynamics of the game. We must accept that there are players that are great in their own rights and brand or style of play. Maybe we can say MJ is the most clutch,Shaq the most dominant, Lebron the most all around player, so on on so forth...Just for the record, my top 5 so far right now would be MJ, Magic, Kobe, Duncan and LBJ(based on players that I have seen play). But I can't say who's the best of them all it's just not fair and not right to compare players who did'nt even have the chance to play each other, like MJ and LBJ, Kobe and Magic, Shaq and Wilt. Hope you get my point and let's just enjoy this upcoming Finals!

    Out of his own mouth he said Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time but then turn around and said he wasn't trying to be like Mike cuz he thought that was impossible but then he turns around and he contradicts that and says he was trying to be like Mike look. Y'all quit putting that boy under all his pressure. Okay he got the scoring title. He is not surpassed Michael Jordan and anything but that because he's been there so long. But LeBron has missed a lot of games. We know for a fact Mike wouldn't missing games, not even when he was sick. Not even when he had the fraction big toe. Not even being beat. The death on the court might still showed up every game whether he was sick, hurt or whatever. Some kind of way throughout the game but this man being injured or sick. He still did better than everybody on the floor. He still outran people dunked on PB played as if nothing was wrong with him but we all know some was wrong with him. His doctors are telling you something wrong with him and we advised him not to go out there but Mike's still went out there. LeBron James is a good basketball player and astounding basketball player. A relentless basketball player LeBron James is. I don't think I can put no more titles on that for him but he is not. I repeat he is not not better than Michael Jordan. Imagine that Mike wouldn't have been missing games. Imagine if they wouldn't have never killed Michael Jordan's father because we all know anybody would sense. We all know the only reason why that man left when he retired. The first time is cuz they killed his father. Any fool could see that it has nothing to do with his gambling hell he been doing gambling. It has nothing to do with him wanting more money. The man lost his father, his best friend. I don't know if people know what that means, but I'm going to tell you the burden of losing your father who is actually your best friend. I'm surprised he didn't leave as soon as that happened because we all know that they killed Michael Jordan father. They murdered him because the mob wanted Mike to lose that game. They wanted him to lose and not win the championship and Mike wasn't going for it. Basically they wanted Mike to take a dive and Mike wasn't going. But I'm just saying if these things wouldn't happen then Michael Jordan's life he wouldn't have never retired. He'd have those eight championships if they wouldn't have got rid of Phil Jackson. Mike would have played at least four more years in Chicago and I guarantee out of those other four years at either played after the 3 Peat Yes, I'm going forwards to say that they would have beat the Houston rockets they would have. It probably wouldn't have been easy. But then again we're talking about Michael Jordan and the Chicago bulls. They would have beaten Houston

      Monte Augustine no, that's not what is happening..... he just has not yet passed Jordan..... even if he passes him statistically in a specific area..... Karl Malone scored more career points than Jordan...... because he played a lot longer of course...... but my point is that even if you pass Jordan in a particular area, that doesn't mean that you have passed Jordan...... I'm not saying that LeBron can never pass Jordan....... maybe he will..... but he would need to be in a streak of several consecutive finals in which he wins all the ones he is in and gets the Finaks MVP in each of them, and then he will truly be right up there with Jordan...... but as it stands...... he is by far the greatest player of our era..... but Jordan is still greater........'

    • @LegendInThaMakin
      @LegendInThaMakin 7 років тому +5

      Andrew Goering this is false.
      Individually as a player, LeBron James is a better basketball player in every single aspect of basketball except maybe scoring. This is an absolute fact. Championships is a team accomplishment, I want to give Mike props for 6-0 but he kept getting destroyed in the first round before he acquired pippen in his 3rd year who is one of the 50 greatest players ever. LeBron on the other hand played with garbage players for the first 7 years of his career. What LeBron did last year, coming back from 3-1 to defeat the greatest regular season team ever was so much harder than anything jordan ever accomplished in his entire career.
      Jordan is 6-0 yeah but he never faced a team as good as the modern day warriors in the finals so, meh.

      LegendInThaMakin you guys need to stop downing Jordan's victories. He beat who he beat, the same way bron beat who he beat. You can't sit up here and say "Jordan didn't beat great teams" when he beat the show time lakers, swept the bad boy pistons along the way, and beat one of the greatest duos of all time in Stockton and Malone. That did happen. No one is lessening what Bron did so stop doing it to Jordan. Remember Bron beat an injured GSW igodala (back) Steph (knee) Bogut (out) Draymond suspended for game five. But people still call it the greatest team of all time. And I agree because he still had to best that team, so stop trying to take things away from other players to bolster another, it's just plain disrespectful.

    • @LegendInThaMakin
      @LegendInThaMakin 7 років тому +1

      John anderson see that? See how people make excuses for Jordan's failures and criticize bron for everything he ever does wrong? Doesn't that further prove my point? Jordan didn't start wining anything until he had the help of pippen and bird and magic got old.

    There’s this idea Jordan only impacted the game from scoring. When he played PG he was averaging 30.4-10.7A-9.2R-2.4St in 24 games, including 12 triple doubles. He would simply have been the greatest PG of all time if he’d stayed there.
    He was All Defensive every year from 1988 right to 1998. Lebron hasn’t made All Defensive since 2014.
    Jordan just needed one All Star to win 6/6. Magic had two HoFers, Bird had four, Isiah always had 2-3 HoFers. Lebron had to join Wade, Bosh & Allen to win his rings.
    Jordan is seriously one of a kind. No match, no comparison.

    The post-game conference alone shows LBJ has an All Time great kinda stigma attached and aura about him that will intimidate Durant. No one else on the Warriors is intimidated besides Curry and Durant. Just LeBron's presence will take them out of character, that's 1 thing you can count on this match up, they both will tense up and become tentative in adverse situations, long as LBJ has the same depth production as those 2 he comes out the winner 10/10, hes far better leader than both.

      Because when the factor of MJ vs Lbj comes in to mind it is ABOUT THEM and not other players. Its like you are comparing who is a better shooter Curry or Ray Allen but then the topic will change to Kerr is better. I mean what? Stay on topic.

    • @dke7223
      @dke7223 6 років тому +1

      Raymond Bautista What is wrong with your logic? He is staying on topic LOL For example, when you're discussing who is the best shooter of all time, Curry or Ray Allen, and the main argument in favor of Curry is his higher 3-point shooting percentage (in the case btw Lebron and Jordan being the number of rings), it seems reasonable to bring up Kerr as a counter-example to this whole debate. Using the "3-point %" criterion as the point of issue, one can make the argument that since Kerr has the highest 3-point shooting percentage of all time at 45.4%, the best shooter would be Kerr, not Curry or Allen.

    Lebron will never be Jordan and I realize many of you were too young to see the dominance of Jordan so here's some proof....
    10 scoring titles (nearly straight), DPOY in an era ran by centers, 6 championships and FMVP's including 2 3-peats, the first 3-peat which they had grandpa Cartwright at center.
    Michael Jordan has 6 of the top 10 playoff series scoring AVERAGES of all time. Kobe doesn't have 1. Lebron doesn't have 1. Not even Wilt has one. In his prime, Jordan was ridiculous and it's a shame that he retired midway through.
    Jordan has most of the important winning records - highest winshares in playoff/reg season history, highest regular season PER, highest playoff PER, highest scoring average regular season, highest post season. His prime finals performances were utterly ridiculous and had legendary moments almost every finals - 1991 puts up 31 and 11.4 on the Lakers with 13 FG straight not missing and "the move", 1992 against the Blazers hits and sets finals record 6 3's in a half and points in a half, 1993 sets finals record 41 PPG.... all on blazing efficiency. The pat-on-the-butt consecutive steal and game winner on the jazz? Another game winner and so on, all in the finals
    Playoff records
    Jordan - 47
    Russell - 15
    Lebron - 7

    Kobe - 5

      Y'all dumbfucks who keep saying hurr durr if he was in the super packed and superior and full of beast teams west hurr durr... but wouldn't he be on a beast west team too?
      It's already proven that you can take shit teams, put lebron on them, get to the finals. In the so full of beast teams west, wouldn't he be on one too?
      Anyways, getting back to my comment, and your response.
      So, your argument is that perfect finals records are a relevant point only when you decide if it's easy or not to get there.
      So you're basically saying a first round exit in the west is more of an accomplishment than thhis east dude going to 6 finals and winning half of them. That's a bright mind of yours, I'd like to hear more of how it works LMAO
      Next time, if you're trying to make it sound like you have a point at least make sure the logic behind your so call arguments works.
