This one I want to rave about, it's a knockout plugin and delivers better than your ears will expect it to do. Love it!

      Yeah spot on.
This plugin really invites to play around with the dials.

Thanks! I would also check their u76 plugin, they all sound so thick.

I use compression mostly to get consistency for channel levels , also to cut of transients and tails .
This plug seems to add some form of sonic clipping distortion ( the good kind 😎) also you seem to able dial it in so that you can adjust other sonic properties in the music.
      They got my interest 😁!!!🔥🔥

Thanks for the video. I'm not sure the Input knob have something to do with the clipping/saturation stage. Neold states (in the manual) : This control (Input) sets the amount of gain applied to the signal AFTER the clipper stage, before it enters the compressor. If you want more saturation, you just have to deal with the Density knob. Maybe i'm wrong.

So to make you know that I am not trolling nor have any animus, I feel your assessment is spot-on, and you should use this compression on the 2-bus and Tone Project's Unisum MC on the master bus. See: I am your acquaintance after all. No moot point here. 👍

Where is the 'detector' above the input signal? (knob U --> L)
I notice drum bus section, it shows up.

Would be nice if you tried a little harder match the gain. Its almost like youre trying to make the wet version a few dBs louder before doing the bypass test

Well maybe i already tried a litle harder...
Thats the reason why i actually increased output, to make sure the before and after are equal.
Compressioon reduces dynamics so you really need to adjust with output to get a fair comparison.

@@whitenoisestudio i second that. while reading your cmment i also realise this means it has no Autogain . Bummer.
Thats why i love Powair. It has one of the best working Autogain`s that i`ve tried

Ho, It seems to work well on stare and High frequency, but not interesting for bass

Its leaves your low end more intact than most compressors. Use the shape , frequency , density and emphasis dials to finetune that.

Accurately reproducing a piece of gear from 1957 that was discontinued right away. Maybe for a reason? So if it's accurate analog, does it mean it's automatically good? Saying this is a discussion starter, I haven't tried it yet but I will...

try it! If you like it great, if you dont, fine as well.
I refer to proper build analog gear in the video. There's enough crap sounding analog gear out there for sure.
