I loved this game so much. I really love the music, the voices and how you had to work as a team to solve the puzzles and collect items. My brother, dad and I used to play it together - along with Simon the Sorcerer. Makes me happy that I have these memories. We used to chuckle at those games so much :)
After 20 years ONLY,today 26/03/2021 I FINALLY finished that game using scummVM..I can't believe it,I used to be blocked at the damn throne room,I thought there were a bug in my version and never finished it..damn roach and damn tongue! Now it's time to play goblins 3 :D

That's what sucks about back then, no easy looking up guides o.o it was SO frustrating in this game cos I knew I was doing the right thing but I wasn't doing it with the right timing...

Aw man, me and my sister would've never gotten past the 5 minute mark of this video in the game. I guess I'm not much of an RPG guy. Though I was always amused by some of the things going on in it.
well, i don't remember it very well when i was playing in a 486 but i was using sound blaster so the sound was good (sure, not as good as amiga). Right now i can play it again in a Dos emulator and colors are different from amiga.
Maybe someone could help me.. I thought the game I played on my computer a long time ago was Gobliins.. But I watched the vids.. or at least most of them.. and didn't see it. I remember the guy shooting himself in the head.. but not really, and then popping his head out of his shirt and laughing.. Also a puzzle part with 3 different color cauldrons. If anyone could help.. The sound and music are really annoying and awful. I prefer the CD PC version, it has really good music and speech that adds a lot to the overall atmoshphere.
No,except for point'n'clicks the Amiga was still superior with graphics since PC's weren't powerful enough to use all 256 colors for fast action games till 1994 where it was still a bit jerky (JazzJackrabbit in mind)compared to OCS Amiga games. And again tricks here could be used to achieve more colors such as copper bars for sky and the game could use HAM (Universe uses HAM and has 256 colors!) and redraw the graphics for the Amiga's higher res (320X256 vs VGA320X200) pff.. too much nerdy talk

The roach puzzle is so dumb in terms of coordination. It's original, but in terms of game-design its a wee unforgiving.
