- In this video I share some snow plowing clips from the latest snow storm. About a foot of heavy wet snow. In the video you will see a f550 Jcb skid steers one track teleskid and the other a tire 215 and a Jcb 427 wheel loader. All the equipment has Arctic sectional snow pushers. A 10.5 LD, 13 LD and a 14 HD. #business #equipment #construction #jcb #skidsteer #loader #wheelloader #snowplowing #snow #snowplow #snowremoval #arcticsnowpusher #maine #hospital #commercialsnowplowing

Been there! Love it!
Thank you!
looks fun! i miss the snow
Yes it’s a lot of fun that’s for sure
Spencer lawn care sent me here
I watch some of there stuff. But honestly kinda cringe to much.
This is my first season running a loader. First big snowfall we had I struggled. Just seemed very heavy. Any tips for when you e got a lot of snow
How are your tires? Might want studs too. I have a whole video that covers how I plow with a loader u should watch.
@@tandtlandscapeandmasonry ok I’ll check out the video. Unfortunately it’s not my machine so I don’t have much say in what needs fixed lol
@@Shaun.OBrien ooof first time is a nightmare tho. U get better each storm
@@tandtlandscapeandmasonry yes for sure. The literal first time I plowed in it we got about 2 feet. Not ideal haha
@@Shaun.OBrien omg that’s not a good time to learn! Those ones suck even for someone with a lot of hours
How do you like those Z tracks on the JCB in icy conditions? I have Cat "C" tracks and am thinking of making the switch.
With no studs it sucked I put studs in them and they work great now! Tire is still way better because of speed and better ride tho. I got a video I’ll post soon about studs
Would it make sense for the skid steers or tele-skids to feed the loader and cleanup up the loaders crumbs behind its passes? Does it not make sense for the skid steers to spin 180degrees in place after pushing up a pile and at least clear a little something something going back the other way? Or it it better to reverse empty clearing nothing and having all kinds of snow sliding off on both sides off the little push box? I don’t snow plow commercially or residential either all of our complexes out here in Carbondale colorado are managed effectively with radiant heat. No toxic salts or brines,Very little to no shoveling depending on the storm, no burning all kinds of diesel wearing out pickup trucks, push boxes and spreaders no man/woman going back and forth all night long with those sweet back up alarms. The systems here can melt 2.5-3” per hour depending on the snow intensity and Thermostat control. Someday the restof the country will learn you battle winter more effectively with heat.
Yes you’re correct. This is not how we plow I just had the guys in one lot for the video. We usually stay away from each other and plow our own lots
