Hey mate, your videos have some awesome information! I am looking at getting an Airmar TM 265 LH transducer for my boat. I currently have a lowrance elite fs as my sounder and an older simrad nss evo2 ethernetted to it for an additional screen. I am wondering whether to upgrade the old Evo2 to either a s2009 or a evo3. I predominantly do bottom bouncing in WA from 20 - 80 metres and was just wondering whether you reckon to get the s2009 or the evo3 for my chirp imaging as I will use the elite fs as a gps. Thanks in advance!
Good question and cheers for the feedback. If you're happy with the GPS on Garmin, the 2009 is great value man. Otherwise if you can afford it the evo3 will process a bit better with the newer tech, but very marginal!
@@dhubitetackleandoutdoors3781 Thanks mate! I find the accessibility of the touchscreen on the evo2 very handy and really only the deciding factor in upgrading between the evo3 and s2009. Just wasn't sure if the tm265LH was compatible with the evo3 as per airmar's compatibility chart on their website

Hey mate, looked like fun! Any chance you can give us tips on where to catch some nanny's? I've tried from 60-90m off the south Point of direction bank but only pick up pinkies. Is it better to just go out from Albany or something? Cheers.
Cheers mate, yeah DB is not loaded with nanny's, you get the odd one but not often. South coast has them all over the place in all depths though!
