Hi mate, great video, thanks. Could you tell me what transducer you're using please? I've just upgraded to a Lowrance HDS Pro but the 3 in 1 transducer it came with seems to be struggling in anything over 40m. Thanks again, I'm relatively new to boating and videos like this are really useful! (Albany WA)

You should have just welded it up. We weld them up all the time on site, the boys flog the utes and we just grind it out and weld it up as we don't stock them on site so it's a quick fix just to get us through. But good job mate showed some patience to get job done.

Not convinced that drag is the right way to go. Interceptors dissipate the energy, trim tabs redirect the flow of water, efficiency is certainly different.

Wow what a mission that is massive - never turn down an adventure. How is stepping on a trim tab gonna damage it lol. A 40ft 10k lb boat doing over 100 is dealing with ahelluva lot more force than a 200lb man stepping on it
