I don't thaw them, but if they do thaw that's okay too. Just don't touch them after putting them on the kiln shelf if they are thawed because they will turn back into frit powder.
600º to 1250º, hold for 15 minutes. 9999 (AFAP) to 1350º, hold for 1 minute. 9999 (AFAP) to 960º, hold for 30 minutes. 100º to 100º, hold for 0 minutes. 300º to 100º, hold for 0 minutes. This schedule is from fusedglass.org.
I started with a Jen Kiln kiln that has an interior measurement of 15". It uses standard electric current so no need to hire an electrician. It has been a great kiln with no problems. I have graduated to a much bigger Jen Kiln now but still use the small one for small projects.

Love your videos! Does this freeze and fuse schedule work for 90 and 96?
I have not tried it with 96 COE glass so I can't tell you for sure if it would be the same schedule. Sorry!
They are beautiful! So you do not thaw the flowers before getting them into the kiln?

I use pre fired beads in the center of my flowers.
I have done that as well. It works well.
HI Great video. What COE of glass are you using? 90 or 96?
I'm using 90 COE glass.
😍
Thanks!
I’ve had good results sprinkling mica or enamels, just a tiny bit, in my FNF molds too!
Great idea!
For starters, what kiln would you suggest?

Thank you! There's so many categories. Would i get a glass fusing kiln?
Also, would you suggest I do coasters for starters? Any suggestions?
Omg!!! I just went to your FB page and you live 10 minutes away from me😅 I want to learn fused glass so bad.ilove your work and you are so talented
Instead of water I use Glass tack pink. I find it to be more stable while the prices wait to get fired.
Good idea!
