Hi everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying some time off this summer! I know I really needed a break at least. As you know by now I have been spending some time in Europe and it has been amazing. I know this fall will be super busy so I've been trying to be present in the moment and enjoy every second of this vacation. As some of you might still have trips coming up in August I wanted to share some packing tips with you.
I have been traveling so much the last 10 years which kind of made me a self proclaimed packing expert haha! It is important to know what to pack and in which bag to put it, especially now with all the airport chaos all over Europe. I also like to be comfortable and not have to open my carry on suitcase during a flight so therefore I pack everything I might need in another bag that I can have by the seat.
One thing I need help with is a better way to store my jewelry, do you have any recommendations on travel solutions for jewelry? Please let me know!

Some airports require you to put all your liquids into one small clear plastic bag.. does all your liquid fit into one small bag? Also if it’s all separate I feel that it’s a hassle to remove and pack into a chest bag during security…I keep all liquids together
Same thought. In France they do ask you to put all your liquids in a clear plastic bag and to put it as well as all your electronics on a tray . It was indeed a hassle to remove them from my carry-on suitcase. I keep all of them in a big tote bag and after the checkin I put them back into my carry-on.
I love this! Finally, someone who doesn’t check in all valuables and prepares for lost luggage. One thing, many times in economy class the carry on luggage space fills up quickly and they request your roll-on case to check at the gate. In this situation, it’s quite easy to pull out some pouches from the case and put them in your personal bag. I put jewelry and some knickers in my personal bag for this reason.

I always think that travels are made easier when you have the best travel gears and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for travels like this. Thought I'd share it with you guys too!

Great video. I would recommend a Faraday bag to prevent people from tracking your phone. I would also recommend a RFID wallet to prevent your credit card, or bank card, information from being stolen by individuals using handheld scanners that steal such information.
I travel a lot as well and have adopted many of these fundamentals 😄👍

How can you bring your liquids in the toiletry bag and not put them in a plastic bag at security?
Also wondering this! I always pack my products in my carryon and the liquids are always a struggle….
That requirement varies by airport. In the US you just need to meet the size limit, they don’t have to be in a plastic bag. I have also traveled extensively abroad and was only asked once to put these things in a plastic bag.
Careful taking your Bala! I've had a few of my friends get them taken away internationally because they look like little drug capsules lmao

Make sure all liquids are in the Quart size clear plastic for TSA, and they need to be 3.4 oz/100ml or your items can be confiscated. These items need to be placed in the x-ray bin when going through security. Please keep this in mind, I have forgotten to take my liquids bag out but had no issues, I guess they saw that it was fine 🙃😊

Yeah I always use a really big bag and stuff that with all the essentials and my carryon and I try to mix and match my outfits so that I don’t have to pack so so much but since everything matches and go together I’m about to pack and still look put together. All of my skincare and some of my makeups are travel size. Because I am black and I have naturally curly hair I bring leave in conditioner and hair gel and some hair cremes in 120ml jars and bottles I do a lot of twists outs so it’s perfect. I have to say that after watching your what’s in my bag? Video and saw how much travel size beauty and skincare products you’re able to bring with you in your small bags I’ve started doing the same thing I buy a lot of travel size and I’m so glad I have everything I need.
I pack nearly the same way. But how do you not have to put your liquids into 1 small plastic bag? That’s my biggest struggle…
This is really helpful, but just wondered if you've ever needed to empty toiletries into plastic bag from carry on suitcase? I always have this issue, trying to fit all my essential toiletries into a small clear plastic pouch or bag...

Sanne! I own a small business and I make wellness rollers with CBD and I ALWAYS tell people to roll it also on the back of their necks so the CBD can be absorbed faster for stress and pain relief! It makes it so much better :)

@@vz6365 Hey! CBD is an active ingredient found in the Cannabis plant and can either have THC or low percentages of it. CBD is not meant to get you high and we have natural cannabinoid receptors all over but especially in the spine which is why it's a good idea to apply it topically to the nape of your neck. CBD can help with pain, inflammation, anxiety, sleep..etc. I hope this helps!

I think you really shouldn't be flying that often. I know everyone decides for themselves, but we also have to be more consious about these things.

Pouches are so great and save so much time - well organized travels are stress free later. For cold on airplanes - I am the same and I always have some kind of natural colour scarf with me (thicker if summer) so I can cover myself and also have some my space.

Liquids need to fit into one 1l bag. How did you stuff it all?
Only a few airports I know make you put it in a 1l bag and luckily not LAX or the ones I visited now made me do it!

Don't really understand the cosmetics in the carry-on, even the below 100ml have to be in a see through zippable bag which can't be more than 1L in size, I doubt all of these would fit in a 1L bag
It's different from airport to airport and luckily you don't have to put all your liquids in one bag at LAX!

Yeah you right! I used to do full skincare routines on a flight but I started to notice it actually would break out my skin more. So now I do a good pre flight skincare routine and post skincare routine

i had to buy new clothes when i went to new york bc my suitcase was still in London. I did actually mind it because I had to wear new, unwashed clothes (ugh chemicals, random people's body odor from whoever tried it on before me) in a city in August, the smell and feeling on my skin was horrible... we had a hotel so no washer/dryer plus that would have taken too long, our journey to NCY took a whole day so we needed to switch clothes ASAP. i learned a lot from this vacation...
