My dad used to buy those licorice with the different colored squares. I was not fond of black licorice but I ate the squares just like Tam does. Still do.
I love black licorice. I don’t think we have chocolate covered here I’ve not seen it. Uncle Tim you did a fine job and as always Aunt Tam love your laugh! 😉
I have an Uncle John, what a coincidence Tam. He lives up the country in Cairns, Queensland. I hope to move to Australia in the next 3-4 yrs which is exciting
Love, love, love licorice! You guys are so cute and fun. Curious, what did the layers in the Allsorts taste like? Did the different colors taste different? Love you guys!!!! You brighten my day!!!! Thank you!
Agree licorice is so delicious and the good news is that not everyone likes it so less people will fight you for it and non licorice loving friends will give theirs to you. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
I love black licorice. As far as I'm concerned it's the only kind of licorice. I'll definitely be checking them out. Hopefully they mail overseas 🤞 Great video as usual guys. Always love your banter. ❤ Thanks Uncle John 😉
I don't have an Uncle John, but I am an Uncle John and it's been that way for about as long as the Uncle John's company has been making licorice. I don't think I have ever seen anywhere in America a chocolate-covered licorice, but if I ever did, I would probably attack it the same way you attack the All Sorts, Tam - by gnawing off one layer at a time like a little rat. I'm sure the chocolate by itself would be fine and the licorice by itself would be fine, but I don't think I would be willing to try the two together. Nice video, Uncle Tim and Aunt Tam!
Good video, Tam, but I have tried and tried to like licorice. I just can't. If I had grown up with it then maybe I would have developed taste for it. I'll just watch you and Tim enjoy eating it. 🙂
Hi Nancy yes I think it is one of those food items which is love or loathe my brother doesn't like licorice and never has which was great for me as he always use to snazzle any other kind of sweet treat around.
@@CheekyTam It all comes down to the biology of the taste buds. Some taste bud combos sense licorice as sweet. Some taste bud combos sense licorice as bitter.
Yea licorice. So jealous. Here in the US (black) licorice isn't very popular. I say black licorice is the only REAL licorice. I'm with you on the postage, though. Have you ever made chocolate covered licorice at home? I might give it a go. Not the licorice making, just the dipping in chocolate. I'm not convinced that I could make an edible licorice out of my home kitchen. Do people even do that? ❤👍
Hi Andrea I have never heard of anyone making a batch of home made licorice sounds too much like science that could go wrong to me, I'll leave it to the experts. The flavored licorice seems to be very popular over in the US and I'm with you I don't consider it to be real licorice either. Amazingly Darrell Lea sends and distributes raspberry licorice to the US but not their regular licorice.
That looked and sounded delicious. Another happy review in horrid times to cheer us all up. Thanks both 🙂
Hi Helen, our pleasure! 2020 sure is a shocker have to do what we can to keep our spirits up.
@@CheekyTam don't tell tim you mentioned spirits lol

It is the best way to eat them
Uncle Tim and Auntie Tam.
Uncle Baz
That's what my nieces and nephews call me.
I love black licorice. I don’t think we have chocolate covered here I’ve not seen it.

“This is a different creature” made me laugh and I don’t know why 😂😂

Oh wow cool you also have an Uncle John. Cairns is a beautiful area you would love it there.
Oooh was salivating the whole time watching this :O everything looked so good!
Hello fellow licorice lover. It is good that not everyone loves licorice it means they leave it for us.
@@CheekyTam That's a great way of looking at it :D
I'm not a black licorice fan, but the chocolate coated one looked really nice. I would try it.
You would love the chocolate part of it. The chocolate was really delicious.

Cool! I have not tried licorice in years, was never a big fan, but would love to taste some. I'm def more of a chocolate-only candy man.

So yum!
Yes delicious I think only 30% of people like licorice.

Just sent a special package 📦 today for you and tim
They don't ship outside AU. But I'm looking for an reseller that does...
I’ve eaten all sorts in the layers!
Which is best uncle John's or walkers liquorice????
Tam, I love your videos, but I am one of those people who can't stand licorice. The bullet ones look like a giant capsule pill in the US.
Yes understand lots of people are not fans of licorice.
Uncle tam and auntie tim
Haha that's right. Hope you are having a good week Uncle Brian
@@CheekyTam yes not bad thanks tam
i don't like licorice but good and fun video anyway.
Thank you. Yes understand not everyone love licorice
I have an uncle John.
YAY another Uncle John
A good liquorice video tam but I'm afraid those last ones you ate looked like suppositories
I have an uncle John :P
Yeah same I know a lot of people who have an Uncle John
@@CheekyTam yeah my family is huge, dad has 4 siblings and mum has 5 so odds are that ONE of them had to be called John.
I am John but not an uncle ahhaahah

first you are amazing
Thanks so much for watching. Hope you are having a good week.
I don't have an uncle John in the family
You might have to adopt an Uncle John. Amazing how many people actually have an Uncle John.
