Hugh - Am I correct, what you are saying is SCP will not display if OK is pushed in the other modes, ART, SCN and iAUTO. I believe however, enabling the feature Live SCP can be turned on from any point by going thru the menu selections. I could be wrong.

That’s interesting. Might be a quirk of the lens. You might be able to get around it by shifting the white balance? On the super control panel, try adjusting where it says ‘G+0’ downwards?

I'd like to see a tutorial on focus stacking. I just saw one on another channel, but it wasn't specific to Olympus, and frankly it was over my head. I notice particularly in close up shots that the A/F focuses on the wrong spot.

I have both. The E-PL9 is a great little travel camera if you need to be small and compact, or 4K video is important to you. The PEN-F is my favourite camera though, and the one I use 95% of the time

Have you tried taking the lens off and putting it back on again? Make sure the electrical contacts are clean too. What kind of situation are you recording in? You always want your microphone as close to your sound source as possible

I have the E-PL5 and was able to follow along and do the same setup. The menus look slightly different but it is all there. Make sure you have the camera setup in P A S or M in order to utilize these functions. Made using the camera so much simpler!
Depends what you mean by ‘weird’. There’s lot a lot you can do about bad sound to make it perfect after. Depending on the software you use, there might be some ways of cleaning it up or improving it though
Jay McLaughlin wow fast response, I like 😉 well it’s a weird but low background noise that pops up every time I film with it, I have a MacBook Pro and for the moment I use adobe premiere pro as editing software, but I’m no pro on that one 😅
I’ve never used premiere. There’s a trick to do with recording just the background noise and then using software to remove anything that matches it. Try googling or looking it up on UA-cam. Might be the solution

Thank you, I wondered why this didn’t work for me. It was because I wasn’t doing this whilst with my camera in either P A S M on the dial mode.

Haha it’s no bother!
In the app settings in the top right corner. Go to image import and change resize to no resizing

I never use focus stacking. I do move my focus point around a lot though.

The E-PL5 would be the older model. It definitely works on the E-PL7, 8 & 9. I don’t have an E-PL5 to be able to check on

It should be there. It might be under a different menu. I’ll see if I can find out as I haven’t used an E-PL6 in years
I’ve checked on my E-PL1 and the super control panel is there, so it will be there on the E-PL6
