The best stack in that game is starting Party at the Bing and Stugots at the same time. Easier to get the switch hits and then the party really starts 🎉
Me and my partner got to play this at Fillerhalle in Berlin last year! So much fun. Some guy dressed in a tuxedo and white gloves was on that game for like 2hrs before we got a shot at it though lol
Bowen you are a true inspiration to me and I watch every single one of your tutorials. You are witty, hilarious, and I love your dance moves during tournament play. Most of all your skill is what impresses me the most. I hope to be as half as good as you one day. God bless you sir and always keep flipping!!!
Nice to see this game showcased here. Always loved this one. Lots of different rules and light objectives, yet it's not too complicated at the same time. The fan layout makes it easy for new players to flail about and still have a decent game.
this game is difficult, shooting the left side ramps from the right flipper can easily drain your ball if you miss, and the drop target in front of the boat can drain your ball too.😮💨
I always wondered why this game is so desirable, but never knew the rule set of what the player needed to do to score the highest score possible. Thanks for all this information on this nice player.
Easily my favorite pin. I really like to start party at the bing, then complete the boat locks and allow my multiball to rack up switches and start bing multiball.
Have been through a number of your vids recently. What I've learned is i am barely a banger on the pinball table. Perhaps you can recommend a modern machine that's great to learn on?
Slightly off-topic, but what are you using to support your cameras and microphone? It looks a lot more substantial and sturdy than the rickety microphone stand I'm trying to use.
This game has a super fkill shot like Medievsl Madness. I just cant remtmber points or any other award you get because I played this gsme last time in 2005
I love my Sopranos, but my drop target is an absolute catapult that sends the ball flying into the class and/or the left wall of the cabinet. Ive tried all sorts of adjustments, but cant fix it. Any suggestions?
A friend of mine has this game and had the same exact problem. He ended up filling the back side of the drop target with different materials until he found one that deadened the ball instead of catapulting it. I believe it was some kind of resin. Sorry, I don't remember the exact type.
This a common issue on Sopranos. I tightened up the drop target's spring (to cause it to drop faster and more reliably) and it seemed to help somewhat. Other than that, try not to hit it straight on. ;-)
@@bitchinpinball Yeah I only backhand it when possible, but during multiballs its not always avoidable. I just cant help but think it wasnt designed this way, so what happens with age that puts it so out of adjustment?
Now I'm actually excited to play The Sopranos next time I come across one! P.S. Looks like a certain patron's name was duplicated in the opening slides.
This game is disgusting for playfield validation shenanigans. The idiotic Stern Playfield Validation rules mean you have to hit three unique switches before you drain to even start the ball save timer, and if you only hit two and then drain, the counter resets. This means if you're patient, and have even a little bit of skill and luck, you can start multiball and potentially collect the multiball super jackpot ... before you've even validated the playfield and started the ball save timer. Once people realize this, the game plays wayyyyy too long, unless you replace the plunger with an auto-launcher. (I think PAPA may have done this ... I know they did it to Ripley's Believe it or Not)
We all know who the boss is... this guy and his tutorials. Thanks as always!
tv game shows have taught me that bruce springsteen is the boss
I heard he occasionally allows Randy Newman to fill in for him.
@@bowenkerins Born in the USA baby!!!
@@bowenkerins Pretty sure Abed proved Angela was the boss.

this game is fire...
Thanks to Ty for setting these up!!
Finally you are back!
You never had the makings of a varsity Grand Champion.
...anyway, $4 a pound
Thanks for covering this one, Bowen. Love this machine.

Ramps and orbits brought us to this.

@@BrowncoatFairy interesting, thank you, Pretty cheap thing to experiment with.

@@BrowncoatFairy The real fix to this is backhand it.
Can you do an Austin Powers Pinball tutorial please?
I notice you never try the secret skill shot, is it turned off for competition or do you just avoid it?
keep this comming, would love a rush or Godzilla video from Bowen
We try to wait until games are code-complete, but yes! These are definitely coming sometime in 2023.

you have given twice as much support as we ever hoped from anyone :)

This is correct... this particular Sopranos had a very tight plunger to try and defeat this, but it was still viable
If you dont start every ball with a multiball, you are doing it wrong :P
I hate this pin but oddly enough like the tutorial. Thanks Bowen
