- I have this spare tire kicking around for my trailer and I usually toss in the bed of the truck but it finally made it on the list of things to do. MAKE A MOUNT FOR IT.
I can still just toss in the bed of the truck if I want or leave it home with just the pull of a pin. But I now have a way of leaving it on the trailer.
Thanks for watching.
I spend a lot of time out in the workshop and i am always fixing, scapring and recycling things to try to make this world a better place and keep the 'Do it yourself" spirit alive.
I am a computer Network Engineer by profession but my parents and grand parents are Plumbers, engineers, and Teachers so I hope to pass the same Can_Do onto my kids, and maybe some people on youtube. - Авто та транспорт
The ability to move it to other locations- and flip it "inboard", is pretty cool. Smartly done.
Thanks!
I had an LSD trip listening to that music. 😵💫😵💫
I built 5 of these over the years. I like to see how other people do it.
This one has been working great! I would do a few things a little differently if I wasn’t using mostly scrap metal, but overall very happy with it.
Very good idea
Thanks! It’s been working great!
Nice job!
Thanks! It’s been working great!
Love the ability to cut a clean circle so easily. Plasma baby!
A very awesome dude gave me that tool 😉And it’s awesome! And he can use it anytime he wants. 😜
Great idea for your trailer and it's also great when you have your own welder so you can create something you need out of a scrap pile of metal
Thanks! Yes I am very blessed to have some really useful tools!
I would suggest capping the hole at the bottom to avoid fighting yellow jackets.
That is an excellent suggestion and I didn't think about the Yellow Jackets and wasps... I might do that this weekend!
You did not have to ask how I know about the yellow jackets. Also if there is any open areas above you will want to leave a small drain hole. Preferably smaller than a Yellow jacket at the bottom.
I'd put a locking hitch pin on the mount to keep the mount and the spare from walking away some night. Just an observation.
Yep, I added an extra hole for a padlock for that reason.
Wow. !!👍👍👍
