The date hand has to be advanced by pulling out the crown to the first position and then turning it counterclockwise. Clockwise advances the moon phase. I have this exact same watch in gold. It is a beautiful piece and I like it very much.
Yes Because is made in ETA movement. The owner and factory of ETA movements is Swatch Group and Swatch group is owner of Omega, Longines, Breguet, Rado , Tissot and Swatch brands. Others brands outside Swatch group can buy ETA movement too because dont have own movements ( examples: Chopard, Baume & Mercier)
Rodolfo Gabarain Well explain ! Nowadays only Top Brands have In-house Movements All Famous Swiss Made Watch has the same Movements under ETA technology Hublot uses Unico Movements Patek has in house Movements even Geneva is second to them
So, it's a monthly task to change the date. I can understand for leap year, but majority of normal watches do it by default. For the cost, this could have been a feature☹
@@lndivakar Not if they're a mechanical watch. It's common for quartz, but it's not at all special for a computer to do that. No "normal" watch does that for under $10,000.
I have this model. I like it. I have always liked longines watches.

But very expensive :(
Excellent vid👍. Can you tell me if the 24 numbers on the left side of the dial is for GMT?
Thank you. Yes , is GMT and second hand ( both) . The central second hand is only for Chronograph .
It's only a 24 hour display, not GMT

How many jewels in this watch ?
25 jewels
Is it normal for it to take that long to change the day? And month
I guess so....good question.
@@notbutta non the less. Beautiful watch
Is the movement made by Longines, in house or they used someone else? Gone are the days when they used they're own movements i think.

For this particular watch what is the biggest size ?
Do they come with 44mm ?
No, this watch have 40 mm without crown
Yes but the first question today is : what is "made in suisse "?? Is only a 50% and other 50% in China???
Does the date skip "31" for months that have only 30 days?
Yes, skip at day 31. Is very expensive one machine if detect month with 30 or 31 days.
No, this specific model does not. Only annual/perpetual calendar watch can skip.
Skip "31" is necessary to move in months of 28 , 29 or 30 days.
