I just bought mine today, and I'm loving it very much. I bought one with blue dial with stick indexes hour marker, which I like better because it makes the watch less crowded.
I hope you like it because you are going to have that watch for the rest of your life. And then someone else is going to have it for theirs. There are a lot of opinions about watches like these with generic Swiss ETA movements. Longines have their movements made especially for their watches, though and honestly, although it may not be as 'special' as having a watch with an inhouse made movement, it means that you get a movement that are already proven to work - and continue to work, for a lot less then you would pay for an inhouse made one. Good call if you are going for function rather than show.
I've had mine 6 months. I can highly recommend it. I've bought two more longines since. Quality, style, heritage, price, unbeatable. Not great for telling the time, but honestly who cares.
Beautiful watch with a lot of complications but affordable. I think one of the best buys for that money. Longines is very underestimated. This one is on my withlist, just not sure should I go with leather or steel strap, because I already ordered one Longines with leather stripe from heritage collection.

I nearly bought this watch instead i bought a Hamilton Special edition 100th anniversary aviation It cost about the same. The moon face Master collection is a BEAUTIFUL watch But Its a bit small for me if it’s bigger size 42-45mm I would purchase it !
When the the watch left the factory, the cleaning cloth would have been neatly folded and placed in the tray(which you were unsure what it's purpose was) underneath the watch cushion, so why the cloth was sitting on top of the "Mahogany" box I've no idea. The other item the watch should have left the factory with is a very fine protective sleeve between the watch box and the cream coloured outer box. This gives the impression that your watch is pre-owned. Also, you could have mentioned that the strap is actually alligator, not just ordinary cow hide, which is rare in a watch in this price bracket. Sadly the box is not Mahogany but "wood effect". Mahogany, like many other tropical hardwoods is highly endangered and therefore protected.
Longines not a watch brand anymore. It is a name on the dial of a Swatch watch using generic Valjoux 7751 movement with lots of plastic parts in the movement. It is not a luxury brand, it is a nice, overpriced dress watch, nothing more, sorry. Very similar to Hamilton “brand” watches, same mother company, same ETA or Valjoux generic movement. I have real Longines and Hamilton watches. Both of them are almost hundred years old pocket watches, a 992 Hamilton and a 18.79 Longines. Both can run within less than 2 seconds per day. It is Rolex ballpark when it comes to accuracy. Those modern Longines and Hamiltons are worth almost nothing actually. Sorry again.

I Have the moon phase only, I preferred that one as the pretty honeycomb dial is much more visible.

Honestly I went for the look of the Watch... Before I knew much about the brand but so glad I did.
