Great boat, reminds me of a mini version of the "Orka" from Jaws. The local council will know who to call if people start to disappear from the shores of Hayling ..
Whilst it might have been quicker to drive, this looks the most fun 🙂 ... I fish fairly often out of Pompey & Gosport and know how long it can take to go a short distance. I'm blaming the Isle of Wight. A mate of mine has a 28foot, fishing boat with a 200hp on the back. Can only really open it up when it's super flat but you definitely get there more quickly !!!
from my house it takes almost the same time to drive than to go by boat and you still need to get a boat to the end of the spit. my new boat is certainly not built for speed but its very cheap on fuel 😄
This used to be my No 1 channel but ever since you brought the "Orka" you seemed to have stopped kitesurfing. Have you become a modern day Captain Quint and taken up sharking for a living off the shores of Hayling?
you can't go to Hurst castle by car - there is no road to it. The last 1.5 miles you would have to walk carrying all your kit. Or sail there from Milford on Sea - which again is typically a 1.5 mile run downwind, so you better hope the wind doesn't drop or you aren't getting back.
yea its actually about the same, from my house it takes around 1.5 hours to drive to the closest harbour to hurst then around 30 minute boat journey or there is a ferry. Waaaaaay more fun going all the way in your own boat though 😄
@@SamLighti wouldnt say 5h round trip on a boat in this kind of weather is a pleasure. i would do it once, but not 10 times :) also i assume the boat cost more in fuel than the car+boat option !
Miss your videos mate, hope you'll consider uploading again soon ❤

How do you ride at Hurst? Is it true they only allow 6 people at a time in the area?@@SamLight
