I cut this video of the performance. One of my all-time favorites. We were only allowed to shoot the one song. Need to get my hands on the master so I can post it in higher resolution...!
That's awesome. Shame more of the show wasn't shot. Great performance, great crowd and great venue. I bet Live wished they had the full show recorded now...
L-AUNcH Online? the CD-Roms in your local Tower cash register. Btw I missrd this show like all 90s 930 Surprise shows, cause W HFS was a shitshow then.
This does indeed look like the 9:30 Club, which means if the year and location is correct, this performance would have been when Live played the 9:30 Club on Wednesday, February 19th, 1997. Just four days after they played the song on Saturday Night Live and just one day after "Secret Samadhi" was released.
This is THE best performance of Lakini’s Juice. Later renditions on UA-cam are either good due to the audience participation or poor because of the diminishing money available to the band for a sound that resembles the studio recording.

Not sure they ever recovered career-wise from being this weird with the SS album, but man was it an awesome one haha! Screw the mainstream!
best version else than the SNL performance
My favorite was the one from 1997-1998 Sydney Australia performance. Looks like it was removed from UA-cam. :/
SNL when they wore all black in a goth phase for 2 seconds like Smashing Pumpkins was in 98'. And bald Corgan> bald Eddie K
Is there somewhere to find the rest of this show?
