Not CCA, but in process for RCA which is similar. Already told think about 10-12hr work days. During XMAS, one person I know who is a RCA worked from 5am to 10pm for 8 days straight. Hi good afternoon..! It has been more than a month of fingerprinting and they have not been contacted for the academy. Do you think it would be wise to contact the office for an update? I would appreciate any information ... Thanks
@EVERYTHING USPS WITH JAY H , I am not certain that the USPS received my acceptance of the position. If they didn't receive my accepting the position, would I be on the pre-hire list?

@EVERYTHING USPS WITH JAY H , I got the obligatory congratulations email. I filled out the paperwork for accepting the position, but never received confirmation that they successfully received it and approved it. When I contacted who they said to contact about the fingerprinting appt, that person responded that someone soon with contact me to set up the appointment. That was 24 days ago and I haven't heard anything. What is crazy is, two months ago, I got an email(this was for a different position)giving me a fingerprinting appt, an orientation date(the same day) and a shift start time. I never went to the appt, as I didn't want the shift, nor the position. Two months ago, I completed the NACI 85 for the background check.
Ok thats a bit odd. Your status never changed from pre-hire to offer ext? I assume u accepted and filled everything out online? And was it an email that came from a dot gov/usps?

Hey Jay I contacted HR because my liteblue & epayroll got hacked but finally got a new pin lol
Anyways, they finally posted a rural ptf position today and I will be a ptf on the 27th of this month.
Thank you for everything you do J! Love from Cali…

Do CCAs get health benefits?
Yes
Question, if the town is smaller, like 8,000 people vs 35,000, then do CCAs have an easier time working there or no?
I'm looking into applying for the CCA Position here in East coast Florida. I appreciate it if someone here can please help me out by telling me if as a new hire CCA I will be working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week or more straight? Also is it still 2 years wait time before your days of work and or hours lessen to a normal set of hours/days worked? Thanks

Question brother in currently a FedEx manager but I'm never in the office in on routes five days a week 115 stops 300 boxes. With things you can't imagine but I currently start my orientation in about a week. USPS has to be a tad bit easier than FedEx your thoughts ?
Are you A contracted mnger or Are u employed by fed ex directly
They playing games with converting ccas at my station. Plenty of open routes but the company not filling them. Union filling grievances, but the backlog on cases is months 🤷🏽♂️
I’m in a laid back office where a lot milk it, yet I’m getting done on time or even early most of the time and I feel off about it
Tomorrow is last day for CCA Academy and then start OJI on Saturday. Our facility is still short CCA even though 2 of us are starting, but heard another CCA just quit last Saturday 🤦♂️. Pencil Sharpener lol 😂
What physical exam is required for this position? Is it just a standard DOT exam like vision, hearing, reflexes, or ?
None
FYI… CCAs in Alaska start off at $25 an hour! $18.51 plus (tax free) COLA ! LOVE!
Still cant get me to do it. Nope. Need my Toes..🥶🥶🥶🥶
Just got hired. Start orientation in a week. Pencil sharpener.
🖊️ sharpener!!! AAAAMAZING VIDEO!! YOU DONE DID IT AGAIN JH ur the BESTEST!!
I was just offered the position in my orientation is in 2 weeks. I have a pan vacation that was already paid for coming up in July. I want can I still take that time off if from what I'm hearing time off is a problem? Also I'm in the National Guard so I have to take those two days off every month so I assume that I just have to talk to my management about that?
I'm really trying to find out if anyone can please help me i'd appreciate it, Which position is it where you don't ever have to use your own personal vehicle to deliver mail? and also which positions do you have to sometimes work indoors with customers?
Cca .. clerks, mail handlers
Pencil sharpener ma boy. Love these vids. I just applied for a cca position, aced the test and on the Pre-hire list. How long does this process take to get hired?
Varies.. could take up to 3 months
Take everything Jay H has just said, and if you apply it to the RCA craft, its wayyy worse. Dont even bother. CCA makes more money per day and makes career way faster.

"PENCIL SHARPENER" THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER INFORMATION VIDEO!

Hi good afternoon..! It has been more than a month of fingerprinting and they have not been contacted for the academy. Do you think it would be wise to contact the office for an update? I would appreciate any information ... Thanks

Hi, Jay.
New question(s):Would I be on the pre-hire list(I am)if the USPS didn't properly receive my acceptance of the position?
🤔. Not understanding? Can u clarify the question
@EVERYTHING USPS WITH JAY H ,
I am not certain that the USPS received my acceptance of the position. If they didn't receive my accepting the position, would I be on the pre-hire list?
... Ok. So. YOU APPLIED, YOU recieved an Offer extended? And then u Accepted the position .. through the email..
And Did u get info or emails to do backround checks etc?
'its your mindset' that's spot on.
Facts...😁
Hi, after 90 days probation cca 360days, is it guarantee that you will get rehired? as cca again then 2yrs ptf?
because for real man I cant afford not to have a job right now
Youre pretty much set unless ur a horrible worker or have horrible attendance! 🤣
Hey Jay I need your help. I need to fill out the NACI but I cannot rember the dates and supervisor of two employers about 5 years ago. How specific is the usps on this.

@@MrFinesse316 OK im going try. It say they want the supervisors name address and phone number. Sadly I cannot get those.

@@MrFinesse316 is N/A acceptable or can I put the employers number
@@MrFinesse316 Not sure if this means anything but the Postmaster wants me to come in to fill out hiring paperwork. I thought I already did that with the initial application. Did NACI on Sunday. Still gotta do the fingerprinting.
pencil sharpener. I declined a PTF/TTO position. Now I am considering a CCA position. I received an offer letter. I am 56 but in decent shape physically. I am married and settled in and have a fantastic wife. House is paid off and have no real responsibilities. I have enough time in with my state job to collect a state pension when I reach the age to collect. I am looking for a new adventure. I believe I am going to give the CCA position a try. I would like to hear any comments you would have. Thanks for the great videos. I have been watching some of CCA Nicks videos .

Hey I’ve been watching your videos and they are soooo helpful. I was hoping you could guide me in the right direction. I start orientation on Monday for PSE sales distrib. It's not that bad of a job! But you are giving great advice.
Do you know a blog for MVO motor vehicle operator
Me.
I worked CCA for 4 months. It was the Worst job I’ve ever been at in my life. I’m a marine vet who’s been to Iraq working on helicopters in the hot sun 13 hours a day every day and that doesn’t even compare. Just cause you can tough it out doesn’t mean it’s good for you. That job will wear your life span down physically and mentally. The old heads I saw where miserable and angry and suffering. My only regret is not leaving sooner. You can survive as a slave but that doesn’t make it ok. Remember that.
Much love Jay H , out from New Bedford Ma

Thr CCA's in new york get treated like shit. Because the union representative who else can we contact to come in and see how we are being treated. No one should be treated that way.
