As a union steward I was invited to their morning put down sessions. I think they were trying to co-opt me into management (no thanks) It was something. The different station managers would shade the truth about how good or bad they’d be and then the PM or their MCSOs would steal or give PTFs from stations. It was toxic
As a fellow letter carrier, I applaud you for your dedication and sacrifice. Thank you for acknowledging the fact that some carriers are placed in very dangerous and precarious conditions risking their lives carrying mail. Stay strong and stay safe.

lol 4:05 I've seen how supervisors track CCA's via their hand console, and its sickening. In one instance back in 2024, I witnessed 1 supervisor clearing people, 1 PM on the phone with a supervisor that was being directed by the PM of the location of the CCA, and being directed to other CCA's that I would assume were doing dubious actions based on GPS. THAT is toxicity between LC's and MG
Same at my office with the uniform . Some people can wear a pink hoodie but me and others have to have all postal clothes including a black belt and they do check 😂 . It’s selective and it shouldn’t matter if you’ve been there 2 years or 30. Rules should be universal like you said .

You brought up a good point about the Tsp. If table 2 is struggling now what does that say about their future? Inflation is a middle class killer. In 30 years your Tsp and fers likely won't be enough to survive on with this trajectory. Somebody in arbitration needs to do a deep dive on this issue alone. People don't work at the USPS for the job. It's the pension that is the golden ticket. Everyone is being sold a lie at these absurdly low wages and top step times.
Because the NALC leadership is nutless! Management like a lot of the clipboard holders are deadweight! If you don't transport, sort, or deliver, you should be paid minimum wage like you deserve. As a carrier, I hate these condescending pos who blame us for everything. Can't stop to pick your nose without being questioned for a stationary event! Sick of this crap.
My station is short handed because an ahole carrier was hand picked and made a supervisor and made 3 Ccas quit. This guy throws out “I’m giving you a direct order” non stop. He was moved from another station while being trained. Now he’s our problem and he should never be able to be a supervisor. The union does nothing. He’s causing the older carriers to get severely high blood pressure, with two having an ambulance called. Union does nothing. This new management style where they walk around and watch us like prison guards has to stop. Our hours are down this year also. I average 180 packages to 240 and we get no help. Then lately they won’t approve adequate overtime. People have lost all faith in union.
Tell him you are a navy vet and you need paid time off now because he is constantly and intentionally triggering your PTSD as a form of discrimination.
We have lost tens of thousands being on table 2. The nalc runs on hopium and not results. 10 years in and they been saying next time we will do better. They are playing catch up and really are not trying to get us a head.
supervisors don't care what you wear at our office as long as you run for them its ok. l got 29 in and they get upset when l tell them 30 year old toyota can't keep up with the 3 year tesla
You go into the office case your mail and leave. Don’t stick around just take your office Time and get out. Simple. The less time you spend around management the better off you will be

When you, me and everyone else who went to the USPS and asked them for a job didn’t we agree to the terms and conditions of our employer? Yes we did. You do realize you will make the most money, spend the most time and have your pension based on your high 3 at top pay. Can you explain to me why these carriers are touting a 1.3% annual increase every year for 3 1/2 years yet by the end of the contract we will receive cumulative increases of 11.5%? You are on the wrong side sir and if you are looking at putting in only 30 years and the clown letter carriers get their way the $1,856.00 your pension will be as per the current FERS retirement chart and the $1,600.00 supplement will not go far. After heath insurance, life insurance and taxes your pension will be gone. I wouldn’t throw in with that crew. They aren’t worried about you they are worried about themselves,

Your pension will be about $1,800.00 which will be gone to taxes, medical and insurance. That leaves you with $1,600.00 with the supplement. I’ll bet you don’t know the supplement is bound to the same earnings test as social security. I know you are ignorant of what I am talking about so allow me to explain. For every 2 dollars you make over $23,400.00 in 2025 after you retire the government takes back $1.00 so besides your pension being gone so will your supplement. You get no colas for the supplement and if you retire before 62 you will take all zeros on your social security which will greatly reduce it. You aren’t going anywhere. 🤷♂️

A lot of carries complain like you .. “There’s no OT anymore “ then switch to “this job is hard I wanna spend time with my family “ make up your mind. do you want more work or more time with family? REGULARS DO THIS ALL THE TIME … there not one solid stance… and let’s not blame management for REGULARS that are lazy or maybe not lazy but should not be doing the job cause they physically can’t and it cause more work for everyone else. The culture is bad because of BAD Regulars
And people need to stop worrying why others get treated better .. maybe they are just better employees 🤷🏽♂️ those asking themselves that need to shut up and step it up. Actions speak louder than words. 👏🏼
