The reason Kripal Amanna's episodes with celebrities is so popular is because of the childlike enthusiasm he exudes in them. Perhaps it was not reciprocated by the Minister in the episode with Dr. Jayashankar due to his own reservations, but OMG that episode with Puneet Anna!! It was like watching two little kids discovering a new cuisine! As soon as news of his death spread, people went back to THAT episode to remember Puneet. You can see him cheekily asking for anohter jhumka, being so curious about Kripal's experiences, joking about his own cooking, sooo wholesome! In an industry where leading men are always going "if you're bad to me, i'm double bad to you", "naane daada, nan bit innobba illa", there was one chilled out, friendly soul who anyone could talk to and hang out with. NOTHING will replace that loss.

As he rightly said, when when you go and talk with people without any agendas. It just becomes a tea time or dinner time talk. Like you're talking with your buddies and discussing various stuff. Many of us just connected with that, the way he talks about food very endearingly. He listens to people without cutting them off. He doesn't use cheeky tricks like many people do.
