Not a regular viewer of Poki but whenever I see her I get so confused why she gets so much hate. She’s the most supportive friend, actively listens and responds to people, and seems to have a good sense of humor.
I think it’s a combination of being the face of female twitch streamer. “Just a pretty girl no talent all her fans are simps”. And she also portrays a high moral persona, when someone’s like that people will then find any little thing they or interpret anything they do or say to the worst interpretation to get them off their high horse. It doesn’t help she has a clip of her saying the n word so people keep bringing it up lol. She def doesn’t deserve the extent of the hate she gets especially recently tho lol

baking is easier than cooking at a base level. baking is harder than cooking at a higher level. Follow a recipe and you'll have a mediocre cookie but it'll still be a cookie.
I think cooking is easier cause you can be more experimental, baking is almost scientific cause if you mess something up it screws up the whole thing 😂
I think this is true for me just because at the mediocre level baking is so much easier to flavour well 😅 worst thing you can do is making something too sweet and it's still fine. With cooking it's much easier to mess up there

I think being a prep cook, even for a month or two, adds to your prowess more than you ever can just cooking at home. The sheer quantity by which you prep foods makes it all muscle memory. Like the best tool when cooking is knowing how long things will take you and what you can do in the meantime. A meal can take one person 2 hours and another person 45 minutes depending on how they handle themselves. Anyone can learn mother sauces and flavor combinations on UA-cam. How you handle yourself is experience only.

They're not supposed to be that painful, you don't have to live with them being that painful, there's usually a cause or a treatment. America seems especially god awful about period cramps as a symptom-healthcare providers in USA love to dismiss this in women and refuse to investigate. Harness your deepest Karen energy and find a doctor that won't write it off as "woman things." Get dr to investigate endometriosis, and also consider a pelvic floor physiotherapist. It makes such a shocking amount of difference if you can learn to control some of the muscles in that area. Or do none of this, but as someone who has dealt with these problems my entire adult life and finally only got good healthcare that completely alleviated and addressed the underlying issues 13 years after they began, it doesn't have to be that painful! Hope the thing Poki got you helps-heat is also a god send haha

QT after i was actually diagnosed with PCOS and learned that the terrible cramps that I was getting my entire life and just using the heat packs and taking the Advil and all that stuff I didn't really have to, and learning that my bad cramps were way different than my friends bad cramps, it changed my life. I hope that you do go to the doctor and regardless of what you do or you don't have you definitely do not have to have bad cramps. I wish that my doctor I had talked to when I was 17 years old because when I found out that you really don't have to have any cramps at all I almost lost my mind.
As a 35 year old woman.. I find Pokimane to be very impressive. She has dealt with a LOT for such a young woman and still manages to smile and stay graceful about it. If I had to deal with incels as often as her, I don't think I could handle it peacefully at all lol
