When I first saw this set it hit home. A cabin like that hits home for quite a few of vets. A cabin like that in the mountains by a forest and a lake..... That suits me quite well. the snow swept roof and the tree too , it takes me back to a time that was truly and is truly important. This is a beautiful set do not retire it , it will reach out and touch those who need these memories. Thank you for getting this reviewed and up on UA-cam. It reminds me of what is important. They got that going at least. Sad the music brick has a built in lithium battery…would’ve preferred standard batts which they could’ve easily done. Makes it harder to ship out like this.
I actually like the colours on the walls but I can't cope with the blue on the roof 🤪
Use more white tiles to filly cover them up hahah.

The smoke brick would be next level on a train.
I wonder if you could control that with one of the Mindstorms programmable bricks, the plug brick looks similar but I haven't used any of them since the old yellow RCX days
I think they actually do have it in their train sets. I have one in the office I’ll double check it this weekend.

By looking at this house the home along set I would buy this one over the home along set since it looks better and more space to do stuff. It was odd seeing a Christmas set notification in October though.
More Christmas sets coming. I got it out early because I seem to miss so many Holiday sets by the time it's Dec.

Happy 8k! As the other person said, that smoke 💨 part would be great for a steam train build. Very empty inside! It looks like you could build something in the attic! The exterior looks alright, for other parts of the year you could take the Christmas decorations off but I am concerned how it looks with other modulars, a little larger in scale.
I recently brought another modular, the LOZ Cathay movie theatre ( I laughed when I saw on your store you call it the Cathay Pacific which is an airline haha) and Mork Modern Library - hopefully it’s not an stolen design. Christmas is a great time of year for the most part so it was nice to see Christmas stuff early.

Beautiful Set but why the hell is the roof blue? This looks so ugly. I want this set and i will buy this Set but in the same rush with a way more alternative parts for a brown roof with white snow. And also the snowy details are not enough. Why is the tree green an has no white details. Oh this will be fun to turn this in to a real white snowy christmas cottage
