You describe junk journaling well. Its alot of things, as long as it is binded in some form ... its expressing art in a "book type" format. (Or folder, something you open and explore!) I love the freedom of media in a junk journal! 😊 Your use of tape is new to me ... simply a surface to write on. Ingenious!

Finally, junk in a junk journal ❤ this grumpy old lady isn't a fan of the plethora of "vintage" ephemera and printables. Makes everything look cookie cutter and twee, much less original.

I love your journal. I created a junky junk journal using junk mail and various papers/ephemera. I didn’t use any paints in my journal, but I used junk mail to make tags/pockets. It’s quite satisfying.
Me too, but adding paint to my collages is next steps for me. I don't use my acrylic and gouache water colours nearly enough! 😊
