Falling back on old semantics

I assume it’s automatic
To reject me, I understand it

I’ve a habit
Of sabotaging my own gambits
And my sadness
Brings on madness
For any poor soul who want to grab this

For getting a companion
But after dawn, they leave me standing
It never leads where I was planning
Soon enough, they will abandon
Me again for someone random

To find something I can handle
