Update: Holey smokes! Right outta the box this thing TIGs like buttah! UPS dropped it of at my school, and after I tried it, a few of my classmates took 'er for a spin. Finally, my welding instructor sat down and gave it a go. After about the first inch of bead, he says, "That's it, I'm gettin' one o' these". Very impressive machine. Way to go and thank you. ✌️😎
So there are two tungsten's with the torch. A blue and a brown color markings. If I remember correctly the brown is for welding steel and the blue is for aluminum. Is this correct?
Richard Wilkerson The blue tungsten is 2% lanthanated. This can be used on almost anything including aluminum :-) you don’t need to ball the point either. Brown is a zirconiated tungsten that is supposed to be for higher quality radiographic weld to prevent tungsten inclusions. The reality is the 2% lanthanated runs equally as well for 99% of applications. Try them both on AL and see which one you like better! Also if you would like to add a tungsten to your collection at any point... a red thoriated is excellent for almost anything but I’ll switch to pure tungsten or 2% Lanthanated for AL ... we better do a video on tungsten selection 😉😀
Great questions! On the TIG200 the fan does run all the time. Other models do have intelligent fan control. Weldpro, warehousing, and our support team is located in various cities throughout the US and the machine parts are sourced and assembled throughout various countries. Weldpro has been operating in the US for 4 years however our machines have existed in the rest of the world for closer to 20 years. Thanks again. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Hey Luke is this machine powerful enuff to tig weld roll cages and suspension parts on race cars? Most of the tubing and plates are 1/8" or slightly thicker
@@WeldproWeldingEquipment it worked out awesome. I can't say enuff good things about this machine. The pedal feel is flawless and i can adjust my settings to have complete control of what i want to do. I got the upgrade with the CK Worldwide torch also and i highly recommend that for anyone who works on hot rods that has to weld in funky positions. Its an amazing machine. I was so impressed with the quality im gonna pick up the cut60NH. I'll never have to leave my garage!! Thanks Luke👍
I take it that this welder doesn't have any hot start for stick welding or setting for 6010 or 7018...will this run 6010 electrode or is it 6011 on up?
DAVID VILLA ya the Vulcan doesn’t seem like a bad machine at first but for $1000 it comes with no name components. When you get the TIG200 for only $798 it comes with a quality CK super flex torch kit. Warranty on the Vulcan is only 90 days. Weldpro is 2 year warranty. Vulcan... good luck with customer service... Weldpro.. call customer service and talk to Joe! He can give welding tips tricks, setup help, and troubleshooting. Vulcan has a 20% restocking fee... not us 😀 .... Save money and time while getting a better warranty, customer service, online learning resources, and higher quality components.
DAVID VILLA Vulcan only has 25% duty cycle at only 135 AMPS! Weldpro is 40% at full throttle and 60 % on A/C!! Also I’m not sure if you noticed but on 120v it can only weld stick up to 80 amps. That’s hardly enough for smaller 3/32 rod.
@@WeldproWeldingEquipment Hi yes its true. But how can i say.. If it brakes i can take it to the stor and swap it out no down time.. And warranty is up to 3 years i just found you matching and i like it.. But i am weighing witch one is best for my small business.. I am ready to buy now.. Looking at reviuwes abut your machine.. I like the duty sicle and the tourch but hows the waranty and your cuatumer service?
DAVID VILLA seriously our customer service is amazing and local here in the US. You can check out some of our reviews online. Let me just say this... if you get the Vulcan you will probably need to swap it out at least once. It is extremely rare that anyone has a failure with the TIG 200. Even if you ever were to need a replacement we ship from an in stock warehouse here in the US so usually down time is minimal. Seriously... save $100... get a better torch and better internal components. The AC feature is amazing on the welder. Pulse is excellent. Welding aluminum, stainless, anything else is well within the capabilities of the TIG 200. You won’t be disappointed! Check us out on social for lots of customer photos, reviews, and projects.
My order was confirmed this morning. Just got my tracking number. This trigger pull is over 6 months in the making. I'm psyched! ✌️😎

I am wanting to order another type of torch switch. But not sure what that 5 pin connector is called in order to get a proper fit.

Are the fans always running and that loud? Where is the machine made and how long has WeldPro been in business?

bennyboom63 Absolutey! The TIG 200 is perfect for roll cages and much much more! You will have no problem at all with 1/8”

can this machine weld, aluminium?, Stainless Steel?, can this machine do cold welding like ANDELI TIG-250MPL.?
thanks in advance...
can i use a gas lens on the tig torch??
Yes
Dumb question but where does the electrode connect during TIG welding?
The electrode is the Tungsten; it goes in the TIG torch. It's at the end of the video.
I take it that this welder doesn't have any hot start for stick welding or setting for 6010 or 7018...will this run 6010 electrode or is it 6011 on up?
6010 can be a little tough to get going but there is a VRD open circuit voltage option you can turn off for hotter arc starting!
Does this machine have pulse adjustability? Or just on/off?
Fully adjustable pulse!
Can you tell me what are the specs for the foot pedal? 5pin/7pin 10k or 22k? Would like to get an upgraded foot pedal.
5 Pin, let me check resistance.
Ended up being 10k thank you
Hey Luke any possible discount code? I'm currently saving to get my tig 200 :)
Hey Yamonda! At this time we don't have any coupon codes available. Keep an eye out around the holidays when we offer codes :)
Yamonda Kawazuki got 50$ off any purchase over $400 on the website right now!
@@WeldproWeldingEquipment Thanks for letting me know! Though I've already bought my tig200, picking up some argon this weekend, very excited!
What gasses does the cylinder need? Just argon or?
Yes Argon is used for TIG
I set my machine to MMA and it punched me in the face..
hahahaha
