Oh my God! Your playing is so beautiful it moved me. I was having a not so great day and then I heard you playing and it calmed me down. Thank you very much! Going to buy one of those guitars 🙂

Nice review. I've been thinking of buying one to compare with the HB DS-10 Mini I bought right before Thomann released the Delta Blues series, and looks to be almost identical in size to the Delta Blues T, with a slightly shorter scale length, and appearance more like the Baby Taylor I bought for my daughter about 10 years ago. The DS-10 Mini came with a .010-.047 string set, which seemed to suggest it was lightly built. However, That's not the case, and I think it benefits having the current .012-.052 set I installed. The DS-10 is even cheaper, but it has a decal "abalone inlay" around the soundhole, which looks real from a distance. And real cheap up close. Everything else is not bad after a setup with the action, and overall comparable to the Baby Taylor in sound and feel. I would like to see HB release a more "authentic" early 20th century "blues" parlor acoustic, maybe regular scale, but small parlor sized body, 12 fret neck, even ladder bracing. And a 12 string Stella-inspired version would be the bomb. Are you listening, Thomann?
Hello! If you know, could you tell if this little travel guitar sounds better than the Gretsch Jim Dandy? I was disappointed with the sound... Thank you!
Thanks Jonathan! Wow! This Delta Blues T baby sounds awesome. Just for travelling? No. I'd use it for song productions as well 'cause of its very unique ligneous sound. At a price of €57.98 in Germany it's dirt cheap. Your playing is fantastic as always!! THANX!! :)
Stumbled upon your channel on the Harley Benton Facebook group, great content! Keep it up, I really like your songwriting in these demos. Been considering some travel size guitar for myself too, I just love the idea of having a nice and lightweight guitar, easy to play whenever.
HI Dacian! I love the facebook Harley Benton group...very friendly bunch of people. Yea I guess this what this guitar is good for. Portability.. Thank you for your kind comments! 🤓✌
Hi Jonathan! Thank you for the review. I bought this guitar after seeing your review. I liked it! It is so small, practical and light, and yet it sounds good for the price. One question: Would you suggest changing the strings to improve its quality? And if so what strings specifically would you choose? (gauge, type and brand). Thank you!
I am not good defining sounds, but the Baby Taylor sounds more clean, defined and warmer... The Harley just sounds louder. PS. I am getting the Harley, of course, for 68€ is a steal... XD
Good guitar for taking to the beech, camping or the caravan. Jon great playing again hope you do a review of the Keith Richards Harley Benton telecaster soon. 🤩👍
hello jonathan, do you think it is a guitar suitable for playing exclusively the blues or is it suitable for all musical styles? can you play it to accompany yourself while singing?
First of all, I love your channel! Have you been able to compare the Delta Blues T to the Harley Benton GS T spruce or mahogany? I want a travel guitar but don’t know which to buy.
Hi Jonathan ! I'd like to buy a little guitar with a shorter scale which allows me to do easier bends. Would you recommend the Delta Blues T or the Harley Benton GS Travel? Thank you very much !
Both the HB and Taylor sounds are likeable and sweet as travel-sized guitars goes. However, I detect a hint of buzz on the HB - not sure if it's the fret or the neck but overall for the price, it's a bargain. "Drift-wood"? haha...
Yes Nic...Guitar came in with 0.12 gauge..a bit too loose for such a short neck. And yes it was buzzing slightly because of it. Changing to a heavier gauge 0.13 will solve the problem straight off! ✌🤓
@@JonIsJustTooLoud I think it's worth noting that for a guitar like this, some people like that minor hint of buzz for that pre-war martin/gibson parlor guitar sound... Which this guitar does a nice job of mimicking... The CLP-15 ME is the one I'm interested in for that very reason...
@@JonIsJustTooLoud It is? Ok, now I'm confused... at 5:51 you said "Taylor, Baby Taylor" and that you would play something on it so we can compare them both. And when you start playing at 6:05 you even have "Taylor Baby Mahogany BT2" put on the screen on the top left. It's also the one you've linked in the video description and the GS mini looks quite different from the one you're showing/playing (one has a pickguard the other hasn't). Anyways, I've also noticed some string buzz when you were playing the Harley Benton Delta Blues T... now, while it seems like a pretty good deal, especially for beginners and kids (or someone to casually play outdoors/on the couch/while travelling) to me the buzz would be an issue. Did you manage to fix that (if so, what was causing it?) or did you neglect that issue?
Oh my God! Your playing is so beautiful it moved me. I was having a not so great day and then I heard you playing and it calmed me down. Thank you very much! Going to buy one of those guitars 🙂
I'm glad it did..✌❤
Amazing playing as always. No matter what guitar you touch, its sound Magic !
Thank you
The Harley sounds to me more brilliant. Well don't trust my old ears... nice video Jonathan !
Hahaha no you are right.. It's a bit thin but it's got it's own tonality ✌️🤓
great review! can do a slide demo on this guitar? thought it be appropriate for the delta blues!
Your playing makes everything sound good. Love ya' brother. God bless!
Thanks... you take care✌️❤️
Ive been eying one of those as a blues acoustic. Best deal on earth.
You should get the bigger sized ones.. They are actually about the size of a Palour 🤓✌️
Thank you for the test and very good playing !
Glad you liked it!✌♥

Thank you for your kind comments Frank@! I see your point too! Yes it does have its own distinct sound...🤓✌
love your reviews man keep it up
Thank you ✌️❤️
Love the colour. Hows the action? Was there any problem with that?
Nope ✌️❤️
Beautiful guitar and it really sounds great. Nice for a travel sized guitar. Thanks!
Check out the bigger brother in this range..✌️🤓
great guitar and very nice playing

Glad to help ✌️❤️
I have one of these in the post on its way to me, could you tell me the brand and model 0.13 strings you went for please 🙏
Daddario bronze
@@JonIsJustTooLoud thank you, do you recommend 0.13-53 or is it better to get 0.13-56?
Incredible sound for the money 68euros in Spain. Great playing. Compares well with my Baby Taylor .
Yes it's really affordable...soundwise..the Baby Taylor sounds better ..hehe

My pleasure! Would be great string this to 13s...that is if you are comfortable with them✌🤓
What kind of strings I need for this ?
Can't find some in this length
I use 13s ✌💙

Very nice review, I think you could play a $10.00 guitar and make it sound good.

First of all, I love your channel! Have you been able to compare the Delta Blues T to the Harley Benton GS T spruce or mahogany? I want a travel guitar but don’t know which to buy.
No I have not.. But I would go for the mahogany model and string it up with a 0.13 gauge set of strings. 🤓✌️
Jonathan Koh Thanks, you’re the best. If you ever get to south Florida, let me know. Drinks and dinner are on me.
@@francishead lol...I might just take up on your offer Francis 🤓✌️
Does it hold tune while played aggressively (big bends and etc.)?
Nope..unless you change the gauge to a 0.13
You play great! Would you do a comparation between this one, the baby taylor and the gs travel? Thank you
Nope can’t help you.. I only have the GS mini. I don’t own a shop you know?? Hahaha✌️❤️
@@JonIsJustTooLoud haha okay, thank you anyway
it's a good buy for beginners?
yea...it's a relatively good guitar with an affordable price 🤓✌
Is the body of the guitar smaller than the body on a full-size guitar?
Yes
Hi Jonathan ! I'd like to buy a little guitar with a shorter scale which allows me to do easier bends. Would you recommend the Delta Blues T or the Harley Benton GS Travel? Thank you very much !
I meant Bendings sorry for my English *
The GS travel is a better guitar :)
@@JonIsJustTooLoud so you tested and compared both. Please make a video of it and throw in the Yamaha jr1. Battle of 3 guitars.

How was the action?
Needs adjustments
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Is it too high?
Come for the guitar stayed for the playing...
Thanks ✌️❤️
I'd say the Harley Benton has a more distinctive (better) sound than the Taylor
That's interesting!!!✌️
Sounds alright for such a cheap guitar ☺
Yea... Pretty decent for a traveling guitar ✌️🤓
This guitar is just too cheap. I have to buy one and see for myself. Excellent review.
🤓✌
I think for some folk and country, ragtime or even slide the harley benton sounds way better than the taylor
✌️❤️
The Baby Taylor sounds so much less boxy... the price difference though is pretty substantial.
That’s a GS mini.. different from a baby Taylor✌️❤️
