Thank you for deciding to start shooting videos two years ago so we can get to know you lovely and beautiful couple!
I like your straightforwardness, and your answers are very to the point!
Thank you very much for sharing! Welcome to Taiwan, have fun! 👍🥰🙏
Ahh thank you so much for your kind comment! We have been loving Taiwan, can't wait to share more from here!
@@IfWeGoTo You are most welcome! It is my pleasure, thanks to you too! Can't wait to watch the next videos! Happy travels! 🤩🙌
@@giannishen Thank you!! :D
@@IfWeGoTo Thanks to you too! 👍🥰🙏
Taroko Gorge also win my vote, and I can’t say enough good things about the majestic scenery. The park ranger gave everyone a helmet due to road expansion construction the last time we toured. The hike is easy, but the surroundings are just breathtaking. Brandi and Alan just exceeded my expectations again, and it really brightened my day.
Oh yes it was very beautiful!! We have our Hualien video coming in the next few weeks!!
Thank you!! :D
Would love to see you make a video on budget friendly / cheap places in terms of hotels, foods, places to go to during your travels!
Oh that would be super fun, I would love to make tutorials on helping other people find the best deal! Thank you so much for your idea~! :D
20Kおめでとうございます。

素敵な旅を!
どうもありがとうございます!すぐにまた訪れるのが待ちきれません! :D
Loving the Taiwan vlogs! Thank you...
Glad you have enjoyed them!! Thanks so much for watching!
These videos are great I can't wait for more of them
Thank you very much! SO happy to hear you have enjoyed them! :D
Congrats on 20K. Keep on trekking!
Thank you very much!! 🙏😃
謝謝!love your videos.
哇,非常感谢!非常感谢你的礼物!!❤️❤️❤️
Congrats to you both. Nice work and a great milestone that sets the path to becoming a Hot Star on youtube soon. Keep swinging. Would love to see many more of your clips. 🤩
Wow thank you!! Haha maybe one day, we're just so excited to have found so many people also passionate about travel/some destinations!
Thanks again for your comment!
Loved this Q&A! Congratulations on 20K. Your videos are so interesting, entertaining and well-made. I’m glad you’ve cultivated a large audience 😊⭐️👍🏻
Aww thank you!! We're so happy to hear that you've enjoyed them! Thanks for sticking along and all of your support!! :D
Congratulations guys!
Have been following you since your Australia vids, especially liked the leech one. Always seemed crazy that you didn't have more followers considering the quality of your videos, so it's good to see you break 20k.
Onwards and upwards, hopefully 50k this year. 👍👋🙂
Thank you!! Hahaha the leech video was a classic!!
Hahaha it’s all good, we’ve loved making video’s regardless!! But it is nice to have the hobby be self-funding! 😂
Thank you so much! And yes! 50k let’s go!! 🙌
Great couple!!! WISH YOU BOTH THE BEST !!!!
Thank you so much!!
I really enjoyed that. Being Australian, I was touched hearing how you enjoyed your long stay so much. I only started following you 6 months ago but started with your time in Australia. Then after subscribing, I followed your long stay in Japan. I particularly enjoyed it as my husband and I spent 2 years just outside of Tokyo in the early 90’s. I have revisited 3 times since 2014, and like most that go, just want to go again. Have you visited Finland in the years before you started UA-cam? Both my parents came from Finland and all my extended family are there. I enjoyed your India vlogs and told my son about the awesome looking time you had there. He plans to add it to a coming big trip next year. I always enjoy the information you find out and explain in your vlogs. Hope you have recovered Brandy. I was getting worried about your obvious weight loss before you mentioned it recently. Best wishes to you both.
Aww thank you for writing such a long and kind comment! That’s awesome that you’re from Australia, we’re jealous! Hahaha. And Japan is amazing so we’re happy to hear you enjoyed it too!
We have not made it to Finland yet, but it is on our list!!
If your son needs any tips, feel free to reach out anytime!!
And thank you! Much better now! Next time we’ll take anti parasitic medicine preemptively!
CONGRATS GUYS 😊
Thank you guys!! Hope you both are doing great!! We just added your IG btw!! Realized ya'll had one linked on your page!
Ugh we're the same as you guys - I WISH I started filming when I first started traveling!!! So many cool memories that aren't recorded to rewatch now 🥺 but nice Q&A! Live next time!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Oh gosh we feel you!! 😭 we even filmed clips and got the equipment… were just too shy to talk to the dang camera. 💀 oh well!!
Thank you!! Next time we’ll definitely have to do a live!! Can’t wait to see your coming videos!! Those orangutans!!!! 😱
@@IfWeGoTo ❤❤❤
Congratulations, keep it up. ☺
Thank you so much!!!
travel equipment video would be nice…looking fwd when the channel hits 100K! congrats 🎉
should also add a paypal or patreon in your channel description cheers
Woohoo! Let's go!!
When we catch up on our backlog we are definitely looking at some topics we can cover from "home"! This would be a cool one to do!
We definitely need to get to work on that! We'll get one up soon! Thanks for reminding us! hahaha :D
There’s a Georgian restaurant in DC! Supra. So good, and agree wish the US had more Georgian food exposure.
Ahh awesome! Happy to hear a couple exist!! But totally, I am shocked it's not a more common cuisine!
恭喜 恭喜 恭喜

In Thailand new friend are blessing of god welcome everyone.😊
Aww thank you!! We ❤️ Thailand!
Wow Alan looks so good with his new hair cut
Alan says -"aww thanks :)"
20K Question No.32: To what extend can you couple understand Chinese? How did Alan recognize HotStar chicken steak brand sign in Chinese in your 1st video posted 2 weeks ago? Congratulation for 20K-subscriber landmark!
Hahaha thanks for sending us another one! We don’t speak any Chinese (except for a couple of words lol) but we are starting to learn to read a few words! Body language and translate apps get us a long way!! And for UA-cam we translate it via google - so it may not be great hahaha
We knew about hot star because they have branches in Australia where we stayed a long time!!
Thank you very much!!
Taiwan is very clean too !
It really is!
Can relate to so many of these answers. Haha.
It's definitely weird being on the move constantly, but it's not often I find my self "missing" home. I miss family, and some things, but the thrill of traveling and constantly seeing knew places is far more rewarding. Even if we're constantly broke AF. 😂
Congrats on the 20K! Its definitely no easy feat. I hope you guys continue to grow and find even more success in the future. 🎉
Also, #teampineapple. 🍕 🍍 😂
Exactly!!! It’s not for everyone but it’s great for the right people. :)
Thank you guys! starting is definitely the hardest part, but it is super rewarding once a community starts growing. We’ve been loving meeting fellow travel video makers!
Hahaha yesssss 🍍🍕 for life 😂
@@IfWeGoTo We're unfortunately not at the point where we have a community that regularly watches our stuff- more so groups of subscribers that are only really interested in people explore their own country. Hopefully, with time, we will have that as well! 🥺🤞
Totally get that, I feel like that’s a big problem in the travel niche hahaah. Its hard to find fellow travelers! But I think it will come with time! :)
Alan’s haircut looks good!
He says thank you!!!
We’re both sad the barber cut off his swoop, but it will grow back! 😂
a video on how to get around as cheap as possible would be informative! Even for Taiwan specifically because I might do that one day ...
17:23 what kind of livestreaming on which platform? :O sounds interesting
That would be interesting to do while on one area too!!
@@IfWeGoTo that'd be great! It's so interesting to see "foreigners" see more of my 'motherland' than I have lol and I'd love to do a proper trip one day ... the economically smarter the better! haha
Haha it happens, we haven’t seen a lot of our home country either! That would be awesome to do a trip though!
Honestly when flights aren’t involved it can be harder to save on transit, but Taiwan has awesome trains and buses… people have said hitchhiking works well here too! For accommodations we’d recommend airbnb for their monthly/weekly stay discounts, and agoda has a lot of homestays, which are a good option if you don’t mind sharing a bathroom. We haven’t done hostels either (they’re not usually a great deal for a pair) but we know people who have done them on the cheap!
@@IfWeGoTo thanks for the tips! I hope you enjoy and make the best of the rest of your stay in Taiwan! :)
The gorge is very cool , tks for the camera info
Agreed! And of course! Happy to share it!!
100k will be much big , Isn't it ! We want a party 🎉🎉🎉
We will definitely throw a party at 100k hahaha!
Will you post all the remaining videos of Taiwan? I am looking forward to seeing those videos you filmed and wondering where you couple have been to.
Yes!! We will in the coming weeks! I think we have about a dozen! We just had something up that required us to change plans like crazy so we're a bit behind!
The east of Taiwan is very beautiful. Hope you can visit the east Taiwan.
Yes!! We have a few more videos coming from Taipei, but then we do head out to see more of Taiwan!!
謝謝分享想法更了解您們加油
谢谢观看!!

Now in Tainan , where I am going in February .
Ohh that is awesome!!
You can apply for Taiwan Gold Card to see if you are qualified to stay in Taiwan in addition to tourism visa.
We did not know about it!! We will definitely look into it. Thank you!!
@@IfWeGoTo You are welcome. Please also search Taiwan Gold Card - Taiwan Foreign Talent Community. This website consists of those who have Taiwan Gold Cards. They are willing to help and indeed have helped quite a few applicants. From their experience, you can save a lot of time no matter in application process and your residence life in Taiwan.
Ahh thank you! When we settle down from our travels we will definitely be considering this! :D We really loved Taiwan!
❤️
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!!
try , go to 司馬庫斯, but he is far away, be careful of motion sickness.
Oh we did not make it there this time, but it looks beautiful! We hope we get to see it on our next visit!! Thank you! :D
I'm a Taiwanese who lives in LA! I'm planning to go São Paulo, Brazil and Frankfurt, Germany on next year, 10 days for each place, I googled the cheapest month to go to these 2 places, is there anything else I can do to make the trip cheaper? Like maybe how early to book the flight before? I have some credit card points to exchange for a better value in flight and hotel, am I missing any other tips to make my trip cheaper? Thanks already sub! Love your videos! Congrats on 20k!!
Thank you so much!! And wow that sounds like an awesome trip!
Most people recommend booking 2-4 months ahead for the best flight deals. We use Skyscanner or google flights to find the best deals and then book direct with the airlines! airbnb offers weekly/monthly discounts on accommodations, agoda does discounts if you use them frequently!
But honestly I think the best way is to be flexible with your flight dates and avoid bug holidays!
Happy travels!!
@@IfWeGoTo Ohh those are very useful tips! Didn't know some of them!! I'll play around with those tips and find the best choice, thank you!
By the way, I haven't watch all your videos, but I only see travel vlogs on your channel, I'm thinking perhaps you can open a series sharing about money saving tips on travels based on your experience? I'm sure it gets additional views and people who sub to your channel will probably want those tips from you.
I sub to multiple channels about credit card points for better value on flight and hotel just for my future trips(I also use a website called trip plus, I found some of my info there) , they make sense to me and I found many people are into it, and they can apply some of those cards even if they don't live in US, perhaps you two can looking into it and build a bigger fan base from that, perhaps you will get some financial advertorials, who knows! Just my 2 cents! Hope you have fun in my home country!
Anytime!! :)
We would definitely be open to that! Normally we feel like we don't have enough time, but we are pausing our travels for a bit for a family matter - so when we catch up on our backlog we would love to cover topics like this (or perhaps incorporate them more into future videos!)
I think our funding story is probably a bit mundane, at least when it comes to credit cards/points - we've never actually found good deals with it, beyond havingyou standard points back rate. lol. Although covering some of the tax/investment/cost of living topics would be super cool! :D
you guys are so low key its cool... how do you generate income to continue travelling
Aww thank you!! 😃
At 17:10 in this video we briefly go over it, but we both did scientific supply sales remotely! (You know like the tubes that you put Covid test swabs in? We sold that sort of stuff!) but not we’re doing UA-cam, savings, and have investments with some returns!
Congratulations to YT channel for reaching 20K subscriptions! Congratulations 👍🎉 🎉 🎉
🇹🇼 From #Taiwan subscribers,
Thank you very much!! :D
🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒
Thank you!
17:23 what kind of livestreaming on which platform? :O sounds interesting
For live-streaming I used to use an app called liveme! (I think it may have been acquired by twitch now?) I used the app when it was really new. Creators could do whatever they wanted - was a lot like UA-cam, but live and it was easier to get paid. So we’d do walks around town, travels, cooking, makeup, just chatting… whatever! Our friends bf would literally throw his phone in a drawer running it and get paid for a while there lol.
Idk if I could recommend that one now, I’d probably just stick to twitch. The creator cut went from 90/10 to 50/50 when I left. It was also becoming overrun with gals advertising OF (which was also new at the time) and guys being super inappropriate.💀 Maybe that has changed, but I got over it real quick once I was getting 🍆 pics daily and a couple people started getting stalker-y.
@@IfWeGoTo mm interesting, and sorry to hear that. :/
Did you mean your friend was living streaming with his phone ... in a drawer? Wouldn't it be all black? haha sorry didn't get that.
As a tip though there's this site called Restream that allows you to stream through multiple platforms simultaneously like FB, UA-cam and Twitch all the same time, just a heads up!
Hahah it was fun while it lasted!
And yes, exactly hahaha. The app ended up banning it, but he would literally get paid to show up once in a while and he left his phone in a literal drawer at night and people would still send gifts overnight. He actually got paid for that - that's why I started on the app. It paid as much as, or more than a minimum wage job for basically doing nothing lol.
Oh didn't know about that! Thanks for the info!!
What do you do for living (like how do you guys fund all the expenses)
Hello!! Thanks for your comment! :) At 17:10 in this video we briefly go over it, but we both did scientific supply sales remotely! (You know like the tubes that you put Covid test swabs in? We sold that sort of stuff!) but we’ve both since left and now we’re doing UA-cam, using some savings, and have investments with some returns! It basically allows us to tread water… so we’re not really making money traveling, but we’re hardly spending down our principal. So that’s good, except for inflation!
@@IfWeGoTo thanks for replying and your prompt response! 😊
Anytime!! I hope that helps! If you have any more questions our inbox is open anytime! 😊

Thank you Abraham!!
HELLO!!! I am your fan and you have been quiet for not to post a new video about your life here in Taiwan. I am wondering what happened?
Hi Cheng-En!! Sorry we've been quiet for a bit! We have a video coming very soon! It is almost done so we are hoping it will be up by this weekend! :)
Unfortunately, we had to go back to the USA in a bit of a hurry due to a family emergency. So we decided to spend the little time we had left in Taiwan filming as much as we could, knowing we could edit in the US! Now we're back in the USA and getting as much editing done as we can! :D
Thanks for thinking of us and commenting, that means a lot :)!
@@IfWeGoTo I'm sorry to hear you have a family emergency and had to leave Taiwan earlier than planed. Do you have a good time in Taiwan and plan to come back again?
Thank you for understanding, unfortunately it happens!
And oh YES! We absolutely love Taiwan and had such an amazing time there. We definitely want to come back in the future - we would move there if we could!! Hahaha.
