Bro amazing review! I’m waiting for test drive of new Range Rover evoque! Bless you!
audi’s designs are really nice lately. 👌🏽
Thomas is one of the few reviewers who is honest and reliable.
thanks and stay with us!
Way better in every aspect than the previous generation good job Audi !
Emilien Durand I disliked ot
This guy is just great! I love the german accented: "Full HD, Full Screen and Full Lengzz! Let's GO!"
Ok. That intro music and the scene is 🔥
Ciao, Thomas.
I concur - this new model is a huge improvement over the previous one. Much better visual presence.
Great lighting at your location.
Yes this one looks awesome, the old Q3 looked pretty ugly
I think Audi messed up the front end. The older Q3 exterior looks better IMO.
Thomas you are always the best. This Q3 is amazing, it's pretty good.... jus like me I'm NOT really a Q3 fan BUT this new model steal my heart away. Greetings from Namibia Windhoek.
Excellent comprehensive review, Thomas! At last Audi has brought the Q3 bang up to date.
Not gonna lie. Thomas is the best car reviewer there is. There isn't a single channel out there that does such in depth reviews of cars and doesn't ding cars just because they have to say something bad about a car when there isn't really anything wrong with it. Keep it up Thomas. And this is coming from a car fanatic. Love watching the reviews because of the credibility.
great to have your support - spread the word for us!
You have the best channel! So thorough and helpful! And this is an amazing improvement for the Q3! I'm stoked!
Number one reviewer on UA-cam. Yet another brilliant review. Like your suit too, very smart
I love Thomas’ chillaxed reviews as always. I also share the opinion that the last Q3 wasn’t too good but this thing seems far better and also very premium! Thanks for the video.
appreciated !
Wow..Audi is killing it atm!
kraenk12 so true. They are having a blast
Great review as always. When you compared the Q3 to the Q5 you probably should have mentioned the the biggest difference being the Q3 having a transversely mounted engine, while the Q5 has a longitudinally mounted engine. This, of course, affects other aspects of the drivetrain, but most importantly - the driving feel. I am looking fwd to your road test video!
And also the packagr obviously, much less passenger room for longitudinal cars
Well , we have the q3..the interior is a new benchmark in audi's legaue...thanks thomas 👌
Great review as always!
Nice. Colour and the car is a big improvement on the old Q3.
The air vents on the dash look slightly out of place though.
Great video review as always. I didn't see a spare tire. Is that optional?
thanks! Yeah that should be
What a massive improvement from previous generation, amazing.
Best detailed first look at the Q3. Many thanks, as always. After Thomas has road tested it later, we'll see if it has any advantages over a Tiguan SEL, other than 'prestige', more bling, slightly less space and extra expense!
Gordon, if you compare with its sister, the Tiguan, I noted a few things: hard plastic on door top, no felt lined door pockets, ugly gear selector, no cover on cup holders, no rear seat tables, does front passenger seat fold flat - I guess it will have a HUD, and top models will have 3-Zone... First-rate review from Thomas.
Q3 interior looks classy, or rather the dashboard looks classy.
Yet another first-rate review from Thomas. Also love this Turbo Blue Q3, the color is absolutely gorgeous!
Just changed my order from Ibis White to this awesome Turbo Blue 👍
When it will come in India
Wow watch out for that rear seat flip Thomas! Brilliant review on a beautiful car! Nicely done sir!
German engineering presented with German professionalism, well done!
thanks and stay with us!
Measure things by how they are, not by the country. 'German' as equivalent of precision, honesty and quality is overvalued (for example vw dieselgate, when TDI in Jettas turned out to emit more dangerous chemical compounds than american gasoline pickups. Their corporational culture was fatal (and most likely still is, board of directors has not changed much), there is a whole good book about it by Jack Ewing).
Perfect car review as always. Very professional and quite friendly at the same time.
Gorgeous new line for this Q3.
Can't wait to drive it and it looks very nice. The silver color with these rims is perfect
Another nice review.Thumbs up Thomas
Looks amazing! Perfect review as always with a good vibe. Audi is doing a great job at the moment in my opinion. Motivated to get one
Is it key start? I can’t see a start/stop button. Love 💕Thomas he’s the best car reviewer I’ve seen 🙋🏽♀️ keep up the good work handsome 😬
Love to hear that! That ll surely be available as keyless
This interior is better in my opinion compare to A8, A7 and A6. The third screen for climate control is too much.
its like a million times better than the old one
Audi nailed it with this model
You are the first channel to bring new cars to UA-cam, 🍻 to you.
I love this channel ❤💕
thandermax: they detail everything 👌🏻
audi's new daytime running light style is really good looking
I absolutely love his stature, clothing, voice inflection, and microphone. It reminds me of the past. I hope the past is coming back. Keep up the great videos. Wouldn’t mind watching you review cigars and whiskeys 😉
=)
I paused the video to give you a thumbs up 😆 Would this be the design language on the next A3/S3? 😮
ca m this is the design language for the Q-models. I think the front design of the new A3 will be more like the new A1
What about head up display? Is it available as option?
What a beautiful SUV, it looks more masculine than the previous generation. The interior is just elegant no fancy design layout, the virtual cockpit is awesome. Another great review Thomas.
Thanks 🙏
Nice review Thomas. Finally much needed update for the aging Q3 which was no more than a VW Golf. Did you notice this could be the first Audi CUV which eschews the clamshell trunk and whole taillights going up with the trunk?
I always enjoy your reviews Thomas, your attention to detail and sequence of review is classy. Keep it up.
This new Q3 may be top of my list for the compact segment. Very mature and clean.
Best looking SUV from Audi for sure.
looks good. great walkthrough as always.
Some nice improvements over the last Q3 and a nice vehicle with a good finish. Not too many gadgets. Thomas, the legend, delivers another super smooth review.
Really nice car, I like the new audi style. Very good review and an interesting studio background (looks like a professional video shooting). Questions for Thomas: what is your daily driver? how did you make the selection? will you review it here?
Huge improvement over last years model. Excellent review Thomas!
the door is heavy or light compared to the same sized typical SUVs?
The Blue warms my heart.
I own Q3 2.0 tdi 140HP DSG quattro since 5 years. Although Thomas does not appreciate it, it is grate car to me. Surprisingly grate! It is very smooth to drive and damn agile. Very dynamic and sizy for 2 adults. The only downsize is that it is a bit shakie on the bumps. With a new one and this extra wheelbase of 8cm should get better, I hope. Also dashboard in new one looks now much more up to date. I am looking forward for SQ3 version! Grate review Thomas!
Thx for the feedback!
Love Audi’s design direction at the moment
Their designs have been the same for the last 30 years. Only the grill has seen any significant change.
Ricky Holmes No, I have, and they also hardly look different from generation before. How does follow anything I said?
Giovanni um try again, my 2006 A4 looks very different in every detail than my 2018 S4.
Cm22c get lost seriously. The VW group is paying more than enough for what they did. If it was an American company everything would have been swept under the rug and the report would have never gotten out.
Giovanni Are you joking or just stupid? Lmao. How does an A4 from 30 years ago look like an A4 today? Today’s A4 looks more like a three series than the A4 of old.
I love that the drl’s and the tail lights match.
Thanks Thomas
Every time super good reviews
Danke Schoen from Washington state 😊
cheers !=)
Very good review. We were considering the Q5 until we saw the new Q3 coming out. The rear seat leg and head room is ideal. Interior is far better than the prior model. In the US, why do we not get the Diesel engine? What engine will be offered in the SQ3? The slight bulbous wheel arches and rear hips really change the character of this Q3 for the better. We're hoping to stay close to $42k US when the Q3 debuts. Thank you!
thanks so much, keep recommending us! =)
Excellent presentation of a much improved car. I agree with Thomas that before I would never have considered buying an Audi Q3, but now I would add it to my list of candidates.
Pity no hybrid model was mentioned. Therefore the eTron remains my first choice, but needs to be checked again when really for sale.
Well done Thomas and Audi!
Thanks frank!
That looks gorgeous
Love Thomas and silver version. Which one would you choose? New Audi Q3 or Tiguan all space?
Both nice for sure
Can you tell me please whether the boot of a new Audi Q3 35 TFSI S tronic is smaller or equal to that of a new Audi Q3 35 TDI S tronic ( both cars being front wheel drive ) ?
Looks way better than it's predecessor
I like the new version of this car. It just looks more grown up and the added length helps make the rear seats reasonably good place for an adult. Great review Thomas!
I'm curious, is this smaller than the new Porsche Macan?
Thanks! Yeah smaller
Nice review, so far the best for 2019 Q3. Thomas please do you know if 2019 Q5 will have same interior as well? When can we have 2019 Q5 review.
thanks! No the Q5 is not that old.

Keep up the great videos. One of the best on YT!
So cool they kept the design of the headlights of the last generation Audi's like in the previous Audi A5 model.
Wow! Congratulations to the Audi guys. I am usually a BMW-fan but this car looks so much better and more precious than a X1. Great car that will hopefully be also available as a PHEV modell.
You guys are always first with these first look reviews and the best! Absolutely love the channel and keep up the great work guys! 👏🏻👏🏻
cheers man !
Audi are really keeping up to date with design , Really fantastic . I can almost see some aspects of Q7 too there ?
it is a very beautiful car.one question.the basic model starts from around 28,000 pounds.if you had the choice, value for money, lets say with the mazda cx5 what would you do.saw and drove the new cx5 and i loved what you get for the money.to get those specs in the q3 would cost a fortune.maybe around 35,000 pounds.
Great car and great review as always Thomas.
I used to hate the Q3 now I love it!
Will it come in electric too? at least PHEV?
I could listen to this dude talk about anything.
Does this gear selector really fit in this modern habitacle?? I Dont think so
I’m used to my iPad Pro’s 120hz display-those screens seem really laggy. Otherwise I like their placement.
Hey Thomas, thanks for nice review! :) Btw what's the ground clearance on Q3? Is it the same or it has changed? Thanks.
Thanks! I dont think it changed
Audi used to design vehicles with a real sense of purpose and was once a benchmark and referenced by a lot of other automakers.. now I don't know, it's more like they're resorting to more fancy but pointless details to attract. Some designs are alright than others but nothing really stands out anymore. I like the cabin on this car ( and new A1 ) as it is more simpler and has less of that gloss piano finish. Really another nice preview Thomas.
I think there is nothing any reason for dislike this video 😉
Love how he use a real mic lol
Great review! Same as you, I wasn't a fan of old Q3, neither fancy nor spacious.. But with the new Q3, I would consider it my next car.
Bruno Huang
yes absolutely, I had next to no interest in the Q3 but this next gen model has flipped that completely to where I’d strongly consider it in its segment, I think it’s leapt the Merc and BMW quite comprehensively
@NZsarge1 Fully agree with you!
Hi Thomas,
I was wondering if you've ever rised up the question, about what is cheaper for production a touchscreen or physical buttons, in front of key people from Audi (or BMW and Mercedes), because i've been wondering what is the answer?
Best regards!
I heard that digital instruments are becoming cheaper than analogue gauges. But still, they demand extra price...
Question on the engines for Q3: I know in the detailed review you talked a bit about the TFSI and TDI.. I am interested in the 150 hp Stronic. Want a diesel due to better mileage but not sure about the DPF regen and if it will be fine.. Mostly drive in city (around 35-40 km / day) with one highway trip (70 kms return) on the weekends. I have never owned a diesel so your insight will be useful.
Video tip: why don't you make a video on TFSI vs TDI (when to choose which, maintenance costs, typical problems, long term owner ship, etc.)
By the way great video as always 👍
Thanks! I dont think a diesel pays off in such s small vehicle
@@autogefuehl but in this case do you think the 150 hp TFSI is good enough for city and highway? I felt it to be a bit underpowered in a test drive compared to 150hp diesel.
And if I do go for a diesel will DPF regen be fine considering my driving kms?
Well the hp figure wouldnt matter, however 2.0 displacement is better than 1.5.
Diesel filter regeneration happens when u drive steady on motorway around 80-100 km/h
Looks really nice in silver colour.
Nice review. Looks quite better to me than the predecessor when it was new, but got that feeling of déjà-vu, probably because of the A1. I like Mercedes' new design language better. Oh, and that studio setting is awful! Is that the best Audi can come up with?
As usual Thomas makes no mention of what you do when you get a puncture. It seemed like there was no spare at all, not even a skinny one. What happens when you get a puncture?
Hi Thomas
I missed you for long time, I was busy with work and unable to watch your video, You rock man with this video again. Impatiently waiting for new generation of Q3 specifically MQB platform
welcome back !
I agree with you on the old Q3. It was really boring. This looks really good! I'm looking forward to the new A3 as my next car and hope it will share a lot of design language with this one.
Good review as usual BUT you got one thing wrong. The interior top door panel is of course soft touch and not made of hard plastics as you said. Even the Q2 has soft door trim so why wouldn`t the Q3 ?
I'm not sure if I was on location and seen the all-new Q3 and did touch the inside of the doors - or was that you? :-)
we are awaiting testing the gorgeous Q8 model...!!
congratulations for your presentations. characterised by class and intelligence!
Thanks! We already have 2 videos of the Q8 :)
Autogefühl indeed, but not with thomas personal view on driving experience of q8...
Thank you
Whenever I have to buy a new car ... the paint scheme I would choose is 'Thomas Blue' hehe.
Great review Thomas! I agree with you, the front is pretty cool, but I kind of feel they dropped the ball with the rear. It is almost as if they got so fixated with front and side profile styling that they ran out of time, then panicked and rushed the design of the rear through. Nevertheless, I like the new approach to the Q3 and the I love that blue! It is very neat.
No question, Audi is leading the pack right now. Beautiful cars, inside and out and they finally seem to have sorted out the ride/steering dynamics making it a genuine competitor for BMW and Benz in the driving department. The new Q3 is truly amazing. Gorgeous. The other German have got some catching up to do. They’re looking boring in comparison with the Audi range. Yes, Audi is on a roll.
I love my 2016 Q3 but will be looking for a replacement soon. The 2019 Q3 looks like an outstanding competitor to the X1, GLA and the XC40.
Full driving review soon!
Great presentation.
I have the previous version (Q3 TFSI petrol 210 hp) and I see they really have improved the style, the design, the interior, the space, the boot etc.e etc....Everything ! Really a very good job by Audi to correct some flaws (backseat and trunk space basically, and a design a bit too boring) of what was already a very good car. It is really a very good update and I have already selected it to replace my old one.
Will there be wooden trim asan option instead of the alcantara?
Great review - absolutely love your reviewing style and attention to detail. Thank you!
thanks keep tuning in! =)
Feels like a mini Bentayga.... Well done Audi....
Does it have wireless charging for cell phones? Cant find any info regarding that.
sure its an option, didnt I show in the interior part ?
was it? i was watching this on my cell phone on my way to work, i might have missed it. Perfect! Thank you :)
Afterall, less cables are best cables. Heh.
I can just imagine the RSQ3 already with that 5 cylinder engine. Good lord this car will be a looker!
"If you want to relax more put it more in the back"-Thomas 2018
audi says all their future cars will have the 48v system. is this car 48v or still 12v?
Can't wait to have similar style interior for next A3 revision.
