I would love to see him do a proper Tighnari analysis. In some cases he can even be better than limited characters since his frontloaded damage is so insane and you're getting constellations for him passively. The low cooldowns and lack of energy issues helps a lot too.

Can confirm, I actually find myself picking my C1R1 Dehya pretty often over other more meta carries if I just want to clear comfortably. Similar to Zhongli teams, by cycling her skill and burst you get basically guaranteed infinite interruption resistance which can feel so nice sometimes
Unless you keep losing 50/50 to her and also get her in standard banner. You never knows whats happens in game. I lost my 50/50 to her on clorinde banner then got her again in standard banner then i got her again around 20 pulls later in standard banner. So got her c2 within a month. The truth is we don't choose a character instead they chose us lol

Cryo confuses me lately. I've always gotten the impression the Ayaka is Mihoyo's darling character. I mean, I believe she's the only character we (MC) go on a proper date with. She also feels like she's featured or shoehorned into tons of events. And yet, her element is all but ignored. Kind of feels like Ayaka is to be admired, but not played.
@lucassatie yeah it sure feels like that, she used to be really good, then hoyo made freeze essentially useless and now she's just sitting there. I just feel like all of cryo's main gimmicks either got powercreeped or made irrelevant and they got nothing in return. Pyro feels the same in that regard (aside from the fact that they got chevreuse) but the baseline from which pyro started was way higher than cryo's.

I'm basically set on getting C0 dehya but not for the normal reasons (having more options or even collection purposes), it's solely because of future imaginarium theater rotations forcing you to take her and I absolutely DESPISE not having control of her build, knowing that I'll have to deal with their emilie, chevreuse and mualani is already enough it's pretty stupid i know but can't help it, and it's not like i have better options, i don't really use the other standard characters except tighnari and only because i just got him
I had already seen the next IT lineups, but for whatever reason I only realized that she'll be an opening character on both of them now that you brought it up. I was already going for her anyway because she's the only standard 5* I don't have, but wow. Trying hard to get people to play Dehya, aren't we, Hoyo?

I love Dehya so much that i spent all my primos to get her and her signature on her limited banner. Ate 2 Cyno's oars before getting beacon but i didn't regret, since then I've never had any of her cons so im actually pretty happy I'll get finally her first of all the cons i want.
The options for me were, either C0 Dehya just for an off-field applier in Imaginarium Theater, or a Tighnari constellation. I decided going for the Tighnari constellation (C3). It might take a couple of years, but I should be getting a C0 Dehya at some point just by losing 50/50, and then I'll be glad I picked up a TIghnari constallation.
I have played genshin since 2021 and I dont even have Mona, Dehya or Tighnari in my account cause the same idea of getting them losing 50/50. 😢. My Qiqi is c5 already.
Also getting Dehya from the selector! Got her weapon (pulled on the weapon banner back then for shit and giggles with the free pulls we got from cleared archon quests and somehow got it) and I've been hoping to lose 50/50 to her ever since then to no avail.
I play Jean in a team with Raiden, Furina, and Yelan. It shreds all content in the game with ease. Jean can either Swirl Electro for Raiden’s damage or Hydro for Furina and Yelan’s damage, Raiden helps a ton with Yelan and Furina’s ER requirements so they can run HP sands, and Jean can heal instantly to max Furina stacks (most of the time).

Do you have Kuki and Barbra built at c6 too? If you do, go for it because funny Immortal Team build I have a Zhongli with 50k hp for his shield at C1, and my Kuki and Barb are both c6 lol
I’ve wanted Dehya for ages and I only skipped her because of Shenhe’s rerun and coz she was getting added to standard and figured she would spook… I also had faith (hopium) they would *eventually* add a standard selector so she’s a no brainer pick for me. I'm getting Keqing for my no gacha account. It was close pick between her and Tignari. Despite seeing many people recommending Tignari I just don't enjoy bow gameplay
I'm choosing tighnari because I've always wanted him. But I'd have chosen queen dehya if I already tighnari and I'll probably choose dehya the next year unless the characters they'll add to standard will be to my liking
mona/keqing. Those 2 were responsible for 90% of the people starting the game on release. Mona probably still has the most lewd pictures on danbooru and on top of that both mona + keqing are super fun and super viable

Getting Keqing because she’s the only one I don’t have, and I like her appearance, and most importantly I love her play style, like an electro Alhaitham with her ultimate.
Please prove your Keqing in Spiral Abyss too. For so long I don't ever seeing updated guides for Keqing to play with Quickbloom/Hyperbloom at all, but only aggravate like classic. Fischl took everything away from Keqing by peoples judging Keqing's damage by individually in team rather than teamwork.
Dehya constellation. Homegirl really needs it and i love my Neuvillette, Furina, Baizhu, Dehya R5 Portable Power Saw team (C1 dehya will go hard, C2 even harder 😉)
I recently got C6 Mona as a welkin-only player before selector came to the game. I'm definitely not complaining that we're getting it, just feels like we're a year or two behind where we could be.
Going for C1 Dehya. I lost to Dehya on Emilie's banner, which made me very happy. I've been wanting to use her in Neuvillette teams for a long time now, so it's nice that I finally have her. However, the low time on her skill kinda really annoys me. I hope to get to C2 asap so that I can have more uptime on it. I'm pretty confident it's also skill issue on my part because I'm not used to her yet and don't know yet when's the best time to cast her skill in different teams but either way, the C2 will help mitigate that, which is what I'm after.
Im getting dehya as well. Tighnari is the only standard i dont have yet but if i wanna get that useable dehya by 2029, i better get a start on it now 😅
Dehya is the only standard 5 star I don’t have and I think she would as you said round out my account pretty nicely for defensive purposes. Thank you for not over or under emphasizing anything, it’s quite nice to have a calmer well rounded good faith review of everything :)
Any time you look at Dehya as a defensive option, you can use c2 Xinyan instead, assuming you make Xinyan's shield thick enough. c2 Xinyan burst makes a level 3 shield that pulses with Pyro which counts as skill damage to proc TotM. This burst also has a 100% crit rate, so you can run Fav Greatsword without needing Crit Rate. The reason to use Xinyan over Dehya is because Xinyan burst has a 15 second cooldown while Dehya skill has a 20 second cooldown. You're usually using Bennett in the same team, who also has a 15 second cooldown, so using Xinyan here makes the rotation tighter unless you also decide to put Xiangling on the team which makes it not matter. The reason to use Dehya over Xinyan is if you don't want to invest in Defense TotM artifacts for Xinyan, since she's the only person who would ever want them, and Dehya can still do her job with garbage TotM artifacts while Xinyan actually needs decent artifacts and talent levels since her Pyro application is reliant on her shield not breaking.
@@KorinIta deyha has no damage xinyan has no damage, deyha has inter res, xinyan has inter res. (Xinyan has damage if you don't build her for her sheild). xinyan can sustain deyha can't sustain, xinyan can use tom and deyha can use tom. both a claymore characters.

And if I need to find Sumeru resources I have Sethos for that. So I can't really justify using the free 5* on a new character I would have to build only to probably not play over strengthening a character I use quite a bit.
About 80% of the last few 50/50s I lost were pretty much all Tighnari. He was c4 already and my goal is c6 so I will happily choose another constellation for him. Now I'm just one short and will pray I can get another copy. It's too bad Tighnari came out before constellations were able to buff normal/charged attack. It would've been much nicer if his c5 buffed his charged attack rather than the useless elemental skill.

keqing c6 is a 34% dps increase over c0 keqing, c6 tiganri is a 73% increase over c0 deyha c6 is a 196% increase over c0 jeans buffing increases by 76% (54% dps increase)over c0 and monas buffing increases by 32% (82% dps increase) dilucs damage increases by 54% at c6. Plus in keqing best team with fishl fishl does more damage than keqing. PLEASE DON'T GET KEQING CONS THEY ARE POO.

I will probably get Dehya C1, as it makes her more usable with HP Stats instead of relying more on ATK. I cannot wait to see Future Characters for the Standard Banner though. I think it is amazing that they added the free Character from Standard Banner per year, even though I got all of them already.
Dehya c1 is not just "okay", it is the one that makes her playable at all for DPS imho. itis an over 30% increase after all, probably the strongest c1 %-wise.
This was a very thoughtful video, acknowledging new vs old players and how to pick. I'll be picking Diluc for completion's sake (2 years, all standard but Diluc so far) but if I did have a full roster I'd work on building my Tighnari or Dehya. I'm waiting to pick until after I roll for Mualani in case I do get Diluc on the 50/50.
i have both tighnari and dehya at c1 but im picking dehya. The diff between c1 and c2 dehya in terms of E uptime is crazier to me for both neuv teams and totm user for lyney, the latter maybe not being a huge thing but it's okay i guess. Im really excited to get her soon 🔥 -and i cope because i don't use nari since months anyways-

But pyro characters....suck, so that means they are saving what they should have been, for the strong pyro characters. Like....no one will tell you that xingqiu and xinyan are on the same level for their element, hell...barbara is better than xinyan.
@@SaltyDuckling Pre-fontaine, all the off-field coordinated attackers were always restricted by the normal attack condition. And all the on-fielders had extremely low damage numbers because they were actually reaction enablers for off-fielders. Kokomi crit restriction also comes to mind. Only Furina and Neuvilette can do big screenshot numbers without the help of reactions. But with reactions, they are unmatched in the hydro roster and will be for the next 4-5 years.
Tighnari for me, he's already c4 just from 50/50 losses and standard banner (regular ol' welkin player, and I've never even gotten Diluc lol). I don't know exactly how much of a buff his c6 is but it looks so fun I just have to have it :)
I love my Tighnari! Use him in abyss regularly. I am going for C1 Dehya tho, she's avoiding my 50/50 loses for too long... When she came out, I built her as support with HP sands with "it will be worth it when I lose 50/50 on her soon" and then C1 never came. :c

I dont know why people hate her so much, and she's the only one I've wanted for a long time now, but I've never lost a 50/50 and gotten her from it. I already have some really strong cryo carry artifacts for her so i cant wait! I love Qiqi so much, her entire character is cute and adorable and I can't wait to be able to hug her on my team :D
She is already good, its the same reason why people had Zhongli as good but she actually contributes to your teams damage instead of stealing reactions
I too will probably be taking Dehya constellations. Much as I'd like a C1 for my Tighnari, the reality is I don't play him, and probably won't start anytime soon. I don't play Dehya either, but I'd like to. My girl got done dirty.
I think you've convinced me from getting my C5 mona, to C1 tighnari, eventho my thighnari is sitting on a 99% crit rate. But i'll manage to balance his artifacts in no time.
It took me 5 months to find out that the statue of the seven heals and revive the team. Qiqi kept my whole team alive and at full health until then. I never struggled with world ascension as well. Qiqi rocks ;)
best boy Tighnari reigns supreme, of course, but I already have him c6. I'll go for Diluc, because even though I pretty much benched him, I still have him triple crowned, and he barely ever comes home to me. I will have his c4.

I have played genshin since 2021 and I dont even have Mona, Dehya or Tighnari in my account cause the same idea of getting them losing 50/50. 😢. My Qiqi is c5 already.

I play Jean in a team with Raiden, Furina, and Yelan. It shreds all content in the game with ease. Jean can either Swirl Electro for Raiden’s damage or Hydro for Furina and Yelan’s damage, Raiden helps a ton with Yelan and Furina’s ER requirements so they can run HP sands, and Jean can heal instantly to max Furina stacks (most of the time).

For so long I don't ever seeing updated guides for Keqing to play with Quickbloom/Hyperbloom at all, but only aggravate like classic. Fischl took everything away from Keqing by peoples judging Keqing's damage by individually in team rather than teamwork.

I recently got C6 Mona as a welkin-only player before selector came to the game. I'm definitely not complaining that we're getting it, just feels like we're a year or two behind where we could be.
Going for C1 Dehya. I lost to Dehya on Emilie's banner, which made me very happy. I've been wanting to use her in Neuvillette teams for a long time now, so it's nice that I finally have her. However, the low time on her skill kinda really annoys me. I hope to get to C2 asap so that I can have more uptime on it. I'm pretty confident it's also skill issue on my part because I'm not used to her yet and don't know yet when's the best time to cast her skill in different teams but either way, the C2 will help mitigate that, which is what I'm after.
Im getting dehya as well. Tighnari is the only standard i dont have yet but if i wanna get that useable dehya by 2029, i better get a start on it now 😅

Dehya is the only standard 5 star I don’t have and I think she would as you said round out my account pretty nicely for defensive purposes. Thank you for not over or under emphasizing anything, it’s quite nice to have a calmer well rounded good faith review of everything :)
Any time you look at Dehya as a defensive option, you can use c2 Xinyan instead, assuming you make Xinyan's shield thick enough. c2 Xinyan burst makes a level 3 shield that pulses with Pyro which counts as skill damage to proc TotM. This burst also has a 100% crit rate, so you can run Fav Greatsword without needing Crit Rate.
The reason to use Xinyan over Dehya is because Xinyan burst has a 15 second cooldown while Dehya skill has a 20 second cooldown. You're usually using Bennett in the same team, who also has a 15 second cooldown, so using Xinyan here makes the rotation tighter unless you also decide to put Xiangling on the team which makes it not matter.
The reason to use Dehya over Xinyan is if you don't want to invest in Defense TotM artifacts for Xinyan, since she's the only person who would ever want them, and Dehya can still do her job with garbage TotM artifacts while Xinyan actually needs decent artifacts and talent levels since her Pyro application is reliant on her shield not breaking.
But... but it's Xinyan.

And if I need to find Sumeru resources I have Sethos for that. So I can't really justify using the free 5* on a new character I would have to build only to probably not play over strengthening a character I use quite a bit.

About 80% of the last few 50/50s I lost were pretty much all Tighnari. He was c4 already and my goal is c6 so I will happily choose another constellation for him. Now I'm just one short and will pray I can get another copy. It's too bad Tighnari came out before constellations were able to buff normal/charged attack. It would've been much nicer if his c5 buffed his charged attack rather than the useless elemental skill.

keqing c6 is a 34% dps increase over c0 keqing, c6 tiganri is a 73% increase over c0 deyha c6 is a 196% increase over c0 jeans buffing increases by 76% (54% dps increase)over c0 and monas buffing increases by 32% (82% dps increase) dilucs damage increases by 54% at c6. Plus in keqing best team with fishl fishl does more damage than keqing. PLEASE DON'T GET KEQING CONS THEY ARE POO.

Thank you for the analyses. I already have Jean C9, Mona C8, Keqing C5, Qiqi C4, Diluc C2, Tighnari C1 and Dehya C0. I will probably get Dehya C1, as it makes her more usable with HP Stats instead of relying more on ATK. I cannot wait to see Future Characters for the Standard Banner though. I think it is amazing that they added the free Character from Standard Banner per year, even though I got all of them already.
Dehya c1 is not just "okay", it is the one that makes her playable at all for DPS imho. itis an over 30% increase after all, probably the strongest c1 %-wise.

This was a very thoughtful video, acknowledging new vs old players and how to pick. I'll be picking Diluc for completion's sake (2 years, all standard but Diluc so far) but if I did have a full roster I'd work on building my Tighnari or Dehya. I'm waiting to pick until after I roll for Mualani in case I do get Diluc on the 50/50.
i have both tighnari and dehya at c1 but im picking dehya. The diff between c1 and c2 dehya in terms of E uptime is crazier to me for both neuv teams and totm user for lyney, the latter maybe not being a huge thing but it's okay i guess. Im really excited to get her soon 🔥

But pyro characters....suck, so that means they are saving what they should have been, for the strong pyro characters. Like....no one will tell you that xingqiu and xinyan are on the same level for their element, hell...barbara is better than xinyan.

@@SaltyDuckling Pre-fontaine, all the off-field coordinated attackers were always restricted by the normal attack condition. And all the on-fielders had extremely low damage numbers because they were actually reaction enablers for off-fielders. Kokomi crit restriction also comes to mind.
Only Furina and Neuvilette can do big screenshot numbers without the help of reactions. But with reactions, they are unmatched in the hydro roster and will be for the next 4-5 years.

I dont know why people hate her so much, and she's the only one I've wanted for a long time now, but I've never lost a 50/50 and gotten her from it. I already have some really strong cryo carry artifacts for her so i cant wait! I love Qiqi so much, her entire character is cute and adorable and I can't wait to be able to hug her on my team :D

I think you've convinced me from getting my C5 mona, to C1 tighnari, eventho my thighnari is sitting on a 99% crit rate. But i'll manage to balance his artifacts in no time.
It took me 5 months to find out that the statue of the seven heals and revive the team. Qiqi kept my whole team alive and at full health until then. I never struggled with world ascension as well. Qiqi rocks ;)
best boy Tighnari reigns supreme, of course, but I already have him c6. I'll go for Diluc, because even though I pretty much benched him, I still have him triple crowned, and he barely ever comes home to me. I will have his c4.
