We had the privilege to sit down with authors of “Nice Shoes” Dennis Gillan and Stephen Pihl. Dennis is a mental health advocate and accomplished TEDx speaker. After suffering the tragic loss of his two brothers to suicide, Dennis has devoted his life’s work to fostering discussions about the significance of mental health to various groups and organizations throughout the United States. Stephen is the program coordinator for the Labs of Cognitive Neuroscience at Boston Children's Hospital, where their mission is dedicated to studying typical and atypical brain development in children.
