Looks fun. My dog is a pointing lab. I pretty much just turn him loose in the field and he does his thing. We hunt with an EP so he is not steady to shot. I have participated in upland derby, find point shoot retrieve 3 quail in 15 min. That was fun.

HRC upland hunts are fun to do in the winter but not my standard when it comes to hunting. When a bird goes down, I expect my dog to get there as soon as they can. I've not participated in an upland derby but that sounds fun too. Any day with your dog is a good day. Thanks for watching!
