There so many reasons why people people say that it’s fake, the first one is the mosfet itself doesn’t have a protection diode, as you can see in the video, the primary coil of the transformer is huge which means that it has very high inductance which can create a huge voltage spike that destroys the mosfet quickly, the second one is the output. if you watch the video carefully, you will realize that why the fan runs smoothly even though it’s powered by a goofy inverter because that kind of inverter can’t output fixed frequency and voltage, it’s can fry that fan in a couple of second
This kind of inverter is a very fun project to make and only for educational and entertainment purposes
