I have a spreadsheet I downloaded from a physics professor at the University of Illinois. 120 mph @ 31.5^ launch is 520' at Bend Elks Baseball Club (EL 3709). That's with no wind. A 5 mph wind kicks it up to about 547. Humidity and barometric pressure also play a small role. Depending on if you had any breeze that night, I'd say the 555 is absolutely legit. And that's this old engineer/baseball coach's contribution to this commentary.

What degrees cold are we saying to use the Encore lower then 60 degrees? 50? And is that purely cause the bat don’t perform at colder temps? Or it’s more fragile?

I keep watching this video over and over again and the two balls you hit with the hype fire that traveled over 500’ both appear to have hit their apex beyond the left field fence. Those two bombs you hit seemed to be still traveling up after it was over the fence.
Is your max exit velocity more than 10 mph+ higher than your highest exit velocity with a wood bat?
My son has the hype fire and the Rawlings Icon. Hey Will a sleeper bat in USSSA that hits nukes and is an alloy bat is the Easton Alpha ALX. It’s loud but it’s hot. Those are the three bats he rocks.
Before you hit that tank shot I was thinking to myself if you have ever hit a ball 500 feet at sea level or close to it. 31.5 degree launch angle at 120 mph will go over 500’ with a wood bat in the right conditions. I believe you might be able to hit one 600’ at a higher elevation like Coors Field or even better the pro baseball stadium in Mexico City which is over 7200’ above sea level.
You have a great swing and I wanted to know how far someone like Aaron Judge or Giancarlo Stanton would hit a ball with the hype fire. Do you think someone like Stanton or Judge would shatter the bat?
My 9 year old hit his first 2 home runs with the drop 10 Hype Fire- unbelievable bat. He uses the Select PWR as his practice bat.

I purposely removed my sons 32 drop 8 CATX Composite from his backpack after watching this video yesterday and replaced it with his 33' drop 5 2024 Zoa. He had the Zoa since Christmas but loves the feel of the CATX Composite. We went to cages yesterday and he was forced to swing the Zoa, well he broke it. The Zoa had a higher velocity than the CATX but the CAT is much more durable because he has hundreds of swings with it in the cages with pitching machines.
Can somebody help me select a bat that swings like a 32 drop 5 HypeFire so that he can use it in the cages? I buy from JustBats, the Zoa 32 drop 5, I purchased does not have a warranty because it was discounted from JustBats (used).
*The CATX composite I purchased was well used from a friend. I must say, it is very durable.

I fully broke in a Cat X comp and it is hot with a very nice sweet spot and hasnt broke down like hypes

I get what you mean about “too durable” as a usssa aged kid, I used a meta the week after I bought it, and of course hit a ground rule double, now that it’s broken in that ball would’ve been long gone, I’m goanna use my teammates icon now, I took one swing off a machine and hit it at a speed that’s average for someone two years older than me
The hype fire reminds me of the TPX Catalyst from around 2007-2010. Bat was stupid hot, but broke every other at bat.

3 way battle -5 Green Zen, -5 XL1 Carrotstick, and -5 Hype Fire.
Spoiler alert, it's the Hype. It's 1 of 2 hottest bats ever created. The Gorilla Era Reflex might be hotter in the hands of someone who's HUGE like Stanton/Judge etc but overall the Hype is the hottest bat of all time.

@@jonathanevans3087 It's all about how they're built. The older gorilla bats were super duper durable, and made to be as hot as they could for metal. These new USSSA bats are clearly not anywhere near as durable, but the trampoline you get from things like the Hype are just better than anything, but WAY less durable. Also the Green Zen is amazing but it's been improved on by now.
You should do a video with the hype fire where you just try to go for max exit velo, 125mph+??

What is the longest USSSA baseball bat they make in 2024. When i look on websites I never see any 34” and very few 33”. Could you imagine if they made a 35” like I used to swing a 35-32 Easton Black Magic and I’m 6’6 235 lbs. With faster pitchers throwing high 80s low 90s I would swing the Easton CCORE that I believe was a 34-30 and in Legion travel ball i hit one close to 475’

Listened to the sound from the Hype Fire that you hit 555 and the 118 mph exit velo Ralwings and it's the the same sound . . . same company, probably the same materials, but slightly different design that kept it legal. Now all the Easton Hype hitters will go to Rawlings and it's the same company. They're just giving away the bats for marketing at this point.
I'm from the Uk. Like these vids. But know nothing about baseball. However has anyone ever made an aro bat. It would have a tear drop shape. So you could only hit with one face. But I reckon if it was done right you'd beat records with it. With the increased speed. And velocity.
If the hype fire stays legal you're going to completely run out of money just on baseballs. Easton needs to calm down in USSSA and focus on BBcor.

To me the Hype Fire is the baseball equivalent of the early Monsta ASA bats in the slow pitch world. Heads and tails above the competition that will change the way other manufacturers do their bats as well.

So they all are available in up to 32, but the zoa and catx are available in 33 in USSSA.
What's the elevation at the field, and what was the air temperature? With those we can do the math on that 555ft nuke
3500 feet elevation and 60 degrees!
@@baseballbatbros so without knowing barometric pressure, wind strength / direction, and spin rate / axis I can't get it exact, but with 0 wind and guessed numbers based on similar hits, I'm getting 520 feet or so. With a bit of wnd, ideal spin rate, etc., 555 is definitely doable with those numbers.
