I am amazed..
I wish I had seen them before..
Jazaka'Allah Khairun kaseeran kaseeraa..
I've never seen anyone teach root words better.. thank you so much!
I agree. I have never seen the Arabic Roots explained like this in a video. There are articles in academic journals that discuss similar things like the tri-literal roots & meaning & bi-literal roots or the theory of there being 2 letter roots UNDER the three letter and 4 letter roots. But articles books and some classes are the only places that I ever saw anything like this. I never thought I would find something with so much amazingly interesting material related directly to all these topics. These videos are a treasure.
Plz continue this series with all of the words of Quran..
I love videos that get to the point without long introductions

This is a brilliant way of learning vocab in a wholesome way. I like how you showed it all on one page with images so all the different meanings can be connected back to the root word. Also showing examples of each word in an ayah is very useful. JazaakAllah for making this series. May Allah put lots of barakah in it and allow you to make videos in a time-efficient manner Ameen.

Very interesting science. Shaykh Hamza Yusuf mentioned the letters in one of videos like Jihad. Ja Haa Da.. That jeem and daal are heavy but haa is hollow. And like jihad is heavy on the outside e.g. Self defence but on the inside soft abd compassionate.
JazakAllahokhair
jazaka Allah

salam waglikom!, beautiful video. Is there any book or page or I don't know something that explains the words deeply as you did?
Asalamu3alykum, do you know of any English website/books/links that will help me extract words of the Arabs and how it relates to other similar words (kind of like how you are explaining in the video) or how they used it in poetry. I know there are useful websites and books out there in Arabic but do you know of any in English? If not, what keywords should I use to look it up online? What science is this called? JAK
One topic that you might found interesting and quite relevant to this sort of research is the study of ancient proto-Semitic photographs . These pictogralh system is what would later evolve into the various Semitic abjads. Why I bring this up is because the meanings of the letters have been linked by some scholars to the ancient pictogralh symbols. Take for instance, the root ملك. This would be ascribed as Mem-Lamed-Kayf which would further be depicted as the symbols for water-crook-hand. Interestingly enough the correlation between this symbols seem to collerate with the root meaning of ملك (authority) if you consider taking (kayf) control (lamed) in response to chaos (Mem). It sounds too far fetched when I explained it but you should really look into it and see for yourself. If I showed you on paper it would be way more interesting.
sounds really interesting !
Humble Request

By the way, I am curious to understand the range of meanings within each individual letter and how those meanings apply, even if I need to start with Phoenician or something. If this is a type of study and somebody knows what it is called, I would be really interested in finding out.
youll find it in books dedicated to the topic of الاشتقاق الكبير and الاشتقاق الكبير

Please tell meanings of شمس does it mean messenger
it means sun
Do more bro
How many unrepeated words are there in the Quran. Obviously the Quran doesn’t use each word only once so there are more words that are repeated. I want to know how many unrepeated words there are.
Apparently 85% words are repeated. Saw the stat on a learn quranic arabic app. So 15% unique
what's the book name?
I use several books to make the videos one of the main ones is in the description
So much detail of the Quran is lost in translation . This is why it's so important to study the Arabic carefully! The language and style is too sophisticated for any human to have written! SubhanAllah!
