Did you see the flag at the start? The sword above Nzoth. Is that Sargeras' sword? Or its not even a sword just some weird cross? And they eye on it is they what we can see in the raid maybe??
Exactly as it says, Sargeras sword plunged into the earth and weakened the prison or whatever has been holding Nzoth back, so now he is free to bust a new arsehole in Azeroth
Remember Il'gynoth? "At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming." She/her being Azeroth, and the third death being Sargeras' sword plunged into Azeroth. It makes sense that the sword would be in these Old God depictions since Sargeras was part of the prophecy of their return.

Could it be a figurative crown? Wrathion is technically the Prince of the Black Dragonflight. Maybe, Wrathion does some shenanigans to "defeat" N'zoth and unwittingly opens a path to him or his forces.
I really hate that they made N'zoth's voice so cliche "slow and growly." He spoke at a normal pace and without ridiculous sound effect garbling put over his voice in the Azshara animated short and he legitimately was 1,000x creepier than this in-game version. How many times do you think he will call us fools and mortals and randomly spout the line, "You cannot defeat me!" as we are killing him as a raid boss in 8.3? >_>
@@nicolasaldunate7894 c'thuns voice in vanilla was without a doubt the best old god voice so far. but theyll never reach that greatness again, his hearthstone voice for example, while sounding similar, has too much emotion in it again and sounds too human like.
N'zoth has a very confusing and strange body... I can't even tell if you're inside him, or outside. If we're outside, I'm curious why his body is randomly shaped like a platform, with an eye randomly looking over it...
To be honest with you Valerie. From what I heard. N'Zoth is much...MUCH Bigger then this in lore. What we see is only apart of him. Like think of this as his finger with many eyes on it. Yoggsaron is the same way. He is much bigger but in the raid. We only fought a part of him
@@Johnnekaiser actually.. we fought him on full scale.. it's just that the team couldn't make him that large on screen... cus of practical reasons. You are supposed to see your boss properly without your whole screen getting flooded with a huge tentacle monster covering it all. In lore they do confirm them to be dead as well. Might be some sort of comeback, but I highly doubt it. The story is about to unfold quite soon I think.
@@Digzitify After Researching a little bit. I can say that you are right. The World Tree Andrassil / Vordrassil grew it's roots too close to Yogg's Prison. I Thought it was the other way around. But I Do remember hearing either from Noble or some other source that N'zoth we see in this raid is just a part of him. but i could also be 100% Wrong in that part.
Valerie C remember those Old God Maws from Cataclysm? They were in Twilights Highlands and in the Dragon Soul raid. I'm sure this thing your in during the raid is also a Maw. It's a manifestation of N'zoth really no actually him.
I think it would be cool if they could make an Old god similar to something along the lines of Mr. Fingers from the Goblins Webcomic...I mean, body horror's their whole schtick, right?
The Darkmoon faire should sue for copyright infringement tbh.
Honestly, this is the coolest looking Raid instance yet in BFA.
I hope we will see more freaky tentacle monster fun in the future.
