I know it sounds all over the place but most times when there is a collaboration with many people, they get each person to sing the whole song and they pick out each parts they like (line for line) and they cut and paste sort of speak. This is just a version with all of their vocals un-muted/unedited
this is just the demo and its actually very good, the producer has them all stacked but when he separates each track he can decide which ad libs, the harmonies and runs he wants to keep and perfect, and I can hear the ones they actually used, this s is hot, love it
I like the simplicity of this beat better than the album version. Carries the somber vibe better. Tho it definitely was too much with all 4 of Destiny's Child plus Gina. I'd have liked it as just Gina and Beyoncé.
This tune is "Bomb"! ✔ Check out the vocals on this 👣 track, the harmony is "Amazing"! Everyone is singing their ❤"Hearts Out! NOTE: Missy Elliot is "Phenomenal"!!! 🎶🎹😃
I personally think this was a combo of all of Bey's demo vocals all played together with a splash of Kelly (listen to the laugh). Gina maybe did one part. It stands out too much for it to be a DC vocal.
Gina did most of the adlibs because Missy Eliot is notorious for having a vocalist she likes all over her songs even when they already have other artists like she would have Lil mo and Tweet on songs she sang on featuring Aaliyah and Beyonce. As for destiny’s child . Matthew only allowed them to sing back ground so you can hear Letoya at 1:38 “ I just didn’t see” because she’s alto so I recognize her voice. And then the song gets very busy because you enter Kelly doing her Adlibs then on top of that which is normal destiny’s build format. I honestly believe the reason they went down to just Beyonce is because this red around the time when Letoya and Latavia left so then it became just featuring Beyonce but sent even solo at the time
@@ferngully8135 They overpowering each other on this one lol. Kelly laugh got me tho. She knew it was all over the place with all those vocals on top of other vocals. But it was a demo and not as polished too. They were SANGING nonetheless
I agree. If she was already featured as backup on the Eminem one ("Busa Rhyme") then she could've easily done the same on this one. I get that she was trying to promote Lil' Mo since she was new to the scene, but c'mon Gina deserves the love too. I am pleased that towards the end of '99 Missy added Mo, Gina, Nicole & Ms. Pepsii-Riley as guests throughout the European leg of "Da Real World" tour.
@@ethanjones467 yeh they re-worked instrumental better & the unnecessary adlibs so u actually feel the vibe / meaning of song more. Beyoncé on her own with missy, did just the right amount of adlibs and her voice soothing soulful. I was like 9 when came out & surprisingly loved it at my age my sisters da real world cd album
The lyrics of the chorus are by Jennifer Tilly in 1987 movie, Fabulous Baker Boys, so she should be credited for it. Missy Elliott is a thief who Plagiarised the WHOLE SONG.
Everyone complaining that's why it's called a Demo
For the delayed folks in the back lol 😂😂
This version is dope, definitely just stumbled across this

Every BEYONCÈ & Missy Colab Is A BOP!!!
it’s nice to hear how it started vs the final cut, I’ve always loved this song. still play it to this day
Missy was spot on to simplify to just Beyoncé
A little Gina goes a long way... 😉
Facts!
Sheeesh! Bring this r&b back
We need more stuff from Missy!
this is just the demo and its actually very good, the producer has them all stacked but when he separates each track he can decide which ad libs, the harmonies and runs he wants to keep and perfect, and I can hear the ones they actually used, this s is hot, love it
It sounds like when people on stage fighting to be heard.
sounds like Xscape
@@leonverzuznoel636 LFMAOOOO
So Xscape? 😁🤔
When bootleg downloading was a thing... you could get all the joints that no one had yet. Lol
Track was fire... Go Beyonce
Limewire 😂 I got a lot of songs for free b4 release, download from computer, saved on memory stick and on my phone
Yup I miss those days when albums had 3 or 4 unreleased songs that didn't make the official album
The good old days
I like the simplicity of this beat better than the album version. Carries the somber vibe better. Tho it definitely was too much with all 4 of Destiny's Child plus Gina. I'd have liked it as just Gina and Beyoncé.
love this acoustic sound much better too
This is good!
2024 love this chaotic version still 😂😂
❤ My fav track on the album.

All I need is some Pam from Total. And Nicole Wray.... destiny child background a bit too much tho.
Lil Mo 2
Thank you for sharing Missy is da shizznit. 👍
Missy!!!
This is why there can't be more than one lead singer in a girl group 😂
the girls can easily take turns tho they just didnt on this lmao

"Stop singing my part baby!"
Get you a en vogue album boo
Gina’s voice was definitely overpowered in this one.
Destiny child did not have to try Nd out sing each other like that, so Gld just B was on the Album version
They were fighting for their lives once the bridge came.
❤❤❤❤❤🧡🧡🧡🧡
I don’t hear DC4, just Beyoncé
Wyane Hundredths I’m thinking that’s them around 2:36 when it’s all chaotic lol
@@remylebeau8934 I love it
This better than the released one IMO
I think so too!!
Some people have a ear for multiple stacked adlibs from different soulful voices. You have to really appreciate music on a deep level fr 😭💯💯💯
😱😱😱😱
It shoulda been featuring Gina Thompson as Well .You canzhesr Hkna All over this Tracj

Beyoncé version is better, this good still but Beyoncé solo vocals delivered and interpreted lyrics. This was a bit all over the place
I agree and you can feel Beyoncé's emotions when she sings it

@@marklove4057 It blows my mind how young she was slaying them vocals without the rest of dc at that time. That's why she soars until this day
Beyoncé carried even with everyone else on there. Missy def has a good ear
Album version is much better...... To many vocals and ablibs overlapping each other!
album versions better. This ones too messy and convoluted.
Im not a Beyonce but its better with just missy and Beyonce everybody else on this song sounds like they are fighting to be heard
i dont like this version. the music and arrangement sounds better on tthe album version
This is a Demo
I don't hear Gina
