2:06 runs like this is why Aaliyah has and will always be my favorite. The flexibility she had with her voice was so under appreciated while she was here.
Even her unreleased or rather unknown tracks have such a high quality and class. Aaliyah is a rarity in a totally positive manner. Her whole aura, persona, her films, and songs are so incredible that you are blown away by her greatness. She never had made any bad or mediocre track. On the contrary all of her songs have such a unique, timeless and beautiful feel to it. This one in particular is one my favorites and I really hoped Blackground 2.0 would have released this as a bonus track for the red album. That being said, it doesn’t match the rather dark tone of the red album, nevertheless it‘s still an outstanding track by an outstanding person!
I had stopped listening to Aaliyah because it was painful asf 😭idk if anyone else relates but it’s so heartbreaking to know how talented and sweet she was . I wish I could hear new music from all the ones we lost ❤️❤️ RiP Aaliyah,Whitney,Prince,Michael
I know exactly what you mean… it almost physically hurt to listen to her at one point due to the fact that she’s no longer with us. It’s truly a challenge being an Aaliyah fan, but we owe it to our Baby Girl in Heaven to keep her legacy alive. We’ll be okay! ♡︎
It didn’t compliment the dark tone of the “Red” album, chances are high though Aaliyah may have been saving this for a fourth album or another movie soundtrack which neither happened due to her death.
No she was already added long before Babygirl passed. Tweet worked with Missy heavily during the spring of 2001 during the making of “Miss E… So Addictive” and got added on a handful of Miss’ other productions like this one.

Theodore Jones it’s Lisa Stansfield’s Been Around The World chorus
P diddys hook
@@rachelhurst7376 Diddy got it from Lisa Stansfield.
I know the song but forgot the name of the song
Try Unappreciated by Cherish
Sounds like Cherish rehashed this for "Unapreciated"...
I wonder if Mr. Vegas and Foxy Brown’s “Thank You Girl” samples this song or the original song this samples if this samples anything. 😻
Nah she 🔥💩on this track woah first time hearing this 😮
These are the songs they said they wanted to make another album but everyone mad saying not to release it
i get stuck at 2:10 everytime they all ate that lol
Was this recorded for the red album?
Yes.
This is serious
Aaliyah sanging her toenails off This is a 2020 hit song just add Megan The Stallion for the current culture climate
Leon verses Noel um no sir that would completely throw it off lol
Maybe not Meg per say but it is interesting to think what rapper would feature on this in these days if they ever did 🤔
@@TheBlack0psQueenNone of these thirst traps 😂
why wasn’t this released ?
It didn’t compliment the dark tone of the “Red” album, chances are high though Aaliyah may have been saving this for a fourth album or another movie soundtrack which neither happened due to her death.
@blue red correct, but I was talking in reference to a fourth studio album she had in mind during her lifetime.
That s the words that Iggy Azalea copied in her song Savior "BEEN AROUND THE WORLD"
It’s actually Lisa stansfield song all around the world that Aaliyah and iggy remade
Whew. Google is free
The messiah came out of the house of David
We need to talk
🔥 did tweet get added posthumously?
