I really love this interview and I have watched Haiden since he was a little kid and I knew that he would be great and he has shown it every single day and every single race and I. His second year he is already the fastest in the world and you can’t buy what he has and he has literally worked to get to where he is and I’m super proud of him and proud of his family and his dad working with him and let him choose what he wanted to do and look at him it’s so amazing and Duffe is a beast Mechanic #GypsyTales #Duffe #BrianDeegan #HaidenDeegan
"He's a sicko!" Best quote ever! The progress this kid has made in the laest year alone is insane, and it shows how much he really wants to win! He creates lines where they don't exist, and has a level of drive that very few posses!
Love this podcast and what duffe said. You can have all the money in the world, best bike, trainers etc. money does not buy talent. Haiden is the goat! Keep up the great work!
Anyone who thinks Haiden is only where he’s at because his family is rich still is an idiot. He’s proven that he’s worked hard for years to get where he’s at and he’s progressing so fast that nobody is really keeping up and I feel it’s only going to get worse for them because he’s going to not have a screw in his wrist doing damage anymore and his work ethic isn’t gonna slow down anytime soon
Evan Ferry has had the same opportunities if not more, and look what happened, you can have all the resources and still not take full advantage of them or want to put in the work
I've followed Deegs since he was 10. And mx and sx since 72 and 78 and have watched the best and knew Deegs was going to be great. When people said he was going to be another Mike Allise and i told them that Deegs was going to win in his first year in mx and i got ripped into but i knew i was going to be right.
Can't believe there's still some people that think Haiden has succeeded because of wealth. He's killing it because he wants it bad... and because he's very talented and has worked to leverage those innate abilities. Of course, then there's the physical and mental toughness discussed here. Has his family given him a leg up, absolutely... but its more because of the work ethic and values he was raised with - not the money. You could put a million rich kids on bikes, maybe throw in a talented/supportive dad... but they still wouldnt be able do.... what Haiden is gonna do.

Haiden was very fortunate that his dad had backyard tracks for Haiden to ride all his life to learn on where most kids don't. He took advantage of that. Brain did that because he never had that growing up.
He looks to actually be an intelligent dude. His thought about Haiden’s hunger is totally right, it’s not bc u got money that you will get there, u need your parents to give you that value of deserving things. Brian probably taught Haiden that he would need to work his butt off to get things, and now he’s got the biggest hunger in the paddock and that’s why he wins everything.

All past and present 250 championship holders = bad ass level of training and injury recovery. Any of the past and present championship holders are all on that same level.
Here is a perfect example of that because Brian Deegan had money to give to Haiden so that he could have the best equipment but look at Chad Reed and his sons. They are nowhere near on the level that Haiden is or was when he was their age. and have the same equipment and backing

My Opinion is just the Opposite to the ending of this video. I don't like the Doubles and Triples, too many racers end up in a wheel chair. Make the tracks rougher with more whoopdedoos and keep the speeds down. I raced at Red Bud as an Armature in the late 1970's before the Doubles and LaRacco's Leap ect. Now days they have separate armature tracks where the TT track used to be. Red Bud was a Heavy Clay Track with lots of rocks. I am glad they got rid of the rocks, but they added so much sand that now days it gets too dusty too easily.
