Good morning, Chris....from Ouray, CO! The San Juan mountains definitely got painted white this last weekend. And...you ultimately nailed it....the snow level did stay higher :-( The forecast ultimately was for > 9000 feet snow accumulation; and looking out my window, the snow level was a couple hundred feet below the Twin Peaks, outside of town, which are a hair above 10000 feet. At least all of that moisture did come to us as rain; always great to add to the reservoirs! But..I see the forecast for 23 October to be close to a record high-- in the 70s. So...maybe the hiking season will get extended by a week :-) I just have to be prepared to give my long hair dog a bath due to all of the snow melt and mud hehehe.
Thank you as always Chris. I have to ask, though, would you mind providing a 20-30 second update for the east coast as well? Realize we’re not nearly as active but would be good to hear any possibilities you’re seeing!
Hey Chris, thanks again for the update. Any chance you can also include eastern seaboard in your updates and patterns? I love skiing West, however, VT and Quebec are also places of interest for many east coast folk.
WE SKIERS & SNOWBOARDERS APPRECIATE WHAT YOU DO HERE IN CO
I love watching these videos and getting hyped for winter. Let's go!
