Elbit Systems to supply Crossbow Unmanned Turreted 120mm Soft Recoil Mortar Systems to Austria

Elbit Systems Ltd., an Israeli defense technology company, made a significant announcement on May 8, 2024, regarding its latest contract worth approximately $53 million. The contract entails the supply of Crossbow Unmanned Turreted 120mm Soft Recoil Mortar Systems to General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS). These systems will be integrated onto Pandur 6x6 APC wheeled armored vehicles for an undisclosed European customer. Spanning six years, this agreement marks the debut sale of the Crossbow system since its unveiling at the DSEI exhibition in London in September 2023.
