🏆🔧🔩👏 This is how you make a professional-looking DIY car repair video. You covered the starter-related fuses and relay well. The average Joe like me would have been clueless about starter problem diagnosis without your insight. The camera work was clear and close, the narration and steps-needed process were clear and direct, and there was no annoying rap or metal "music" blasting in the background. A sure sign of an amateur UA-cam DIY project poster is a shaky camera and crap "music" overwhelming the narration. Well done, Lehew Tech! Thanks for sharing to help the home DIYer like me save money.
Super video man! In Iowa we're seeing Sub-Zero and the other day my car just decided no crank just a click one click only I know it's the relay under the hood I would turn that key 20 30 times and finally the starter would kick on and then after that I couldn't get it to fail but the next morning same thing so I took your advice I swapped the blower and the starter relay today. I can't wait to see the results. thanks for the very informative. I want my fuse panel labeled like that! information!
So did that work cause im thinking your problem is down on the starter with the the solenoid not connecting , mine does the click thing sometimes and im thinking replace the starter ?
Alright gentlemen any help would be much appreciated. I got this 06 p71 the other day at first everything was fine but shortly after the cluster would die after I started her up as shown in the video. After a couple of days looking under the dash and near the parking break finding nothing I replaced my cluster with another 06 p71 cluster I pulled at a junkyard. It worked for about 10 mins and rarely comes back on for only a few seconds. I called a local shop that specializes in cluster repairs and he seemed to think its definitely a ground / wiring problem. Im trying to avoid having to take it to a shop what do yall thing i should do
In the front of the box I replaced with new 20 and 15 10 fusel but still I don’t have light 💡 sign during the test …. What I need do ?? Next step … thank for the video
My Mercury Grand Marquis was under 3 ft of salt water. Can I use jumper wire at starter relay to test starter. All I get is a loud click. Computer and fuse box were not under water.
Exactly what I needed, and explained perfectly. Thanks! Edit: I'm getting power into the ignition(red wire), but no power at that 10 amp fuse in the footwell (green wire coming from ignition). So the only thing left is the ignition switch right?
So if at the starter relay you have constant power on the red, constant ground on the blue, 4-5v on orange with key in on position and 12v on orange when in start position and a flickering ground on the yellow what would you say the problem is? I can apply power to the blue pin and the engine cranks over fine and even runs on brake clean but it does not start with the key. Also, all fuses are good. New battery and starter as well. I've back probed the yellow pin with the relay installed and the car does not turn over ever if I apply a good ground to the yellow pin that is back probed. And yes, the relay is good.

My 2004 Crown Vic is experiencing a No start No crank situation and while this video helped me understand what each thing does I still don’t know how to fix it! How can I go about contacting you?
So I just was able to start it by using jumper cables hooking them up to the battery and putting power to the bottom pin / light blue but now my blinkers don’t work 😂
2006 crown Vic WILL NOT SHUT OFF, key switched off an removed but car is still running like nothing happened, need to know what to do? All I kno is it’s electrical an it’s an ignition switch element, or a relay situation right?
Nice...the diagams are a joke (I have the Ford ones) Still, my car wont crank. I really do hate it. I used to love it and maintained this car so well. Its beyond rusty..and I pulled 70s cars that sat in mud for decades and they dont come close to a modern Ford. Its why the Crown Vic forums died out. Because the cars returned to nature...Im looking at the neutral safety...and you cant imagine the rust on it, the housing, the shift cable and lever. I wont be able to remove it.

That was great 👍🏾
Can you plug in the blower fuse into that slot?

Perfect video,🤙👌
What would make no power go to my crank sensor and cam sensor
6 month old starter, drove threw torrential downpours then my starter only clicks, Any idea's ?

Most likely a bad ignition switch!
At that 10 amp fuse, I have power and then when I apply this key to the start position, it goes ground. Any ideas? Thank you.
Went to start my 99 crown vic and the locks went up and down by themselves. Getting power from battery just no crank.
So my crown Vic is acting like the battery is dead what is the problem can't figure it out
This was awesome. Do you have courses?
WOW, no bullshit music, no hammering on about crap. Straight to the point info! Helped greatly!

I have a 2000 police Crown Vic, I tried to jump it off an had the cable on wrong.... Now the car won't start....
Thankyou!
I got power to the red wire on the starter but no power on the wire on the selinoid
It should have power only when key is in start position if it’s not then it’s likely a fuse blown try cross over starter manly

Do you have an aftermarket radio installed or a security system? This can happen if something is powering wires off the Ignition switch.
Where's the neutral safety switch located??!!😭
It's on the left side of the transmission
If 10amp fuse has no power what could it be man???
I have a 2002 crown vic it not start
Hello man i need your help lol
07 crown vic won't start, yellow ground not reading.
