Mu neighbors trailer a 2008 superior 6x12 landscape trailer has 3500 lbs axles but he dragged the trailer 15 miles after the wheel fell off how much height do I need to safely remove the axle and replace it being it's in the grass at his place in sparta ga. Can I get it off using standard tools without it slamming down or what

This is not an axle assembly if the spindle is already installed.
